Good morning LPA.

 

Xbox 360. I no longer have a PC gaming rig so I'm forced to get the console version(s) of cross-platform games. It sucks but it's a price I'm willing to pay to play.

I'm kind of bummed out though because everyone I know who has bought Left4Dead got it for the PC. I understand why what with mods and everything but still... bleh! Now I have to deal with the damn AI continuously startling the Witch and running away from the Tanks alone.

*sigh* Yeah... one of these days when I can afford it I'm going to build another gaming rig. I miss Steam, especially Natural Selection. Ohh, I was good at Natural Selection...

Anyway, same here man. I can't wait to get back to PC gaming.

 

I fucking hate playing live on matchmaking. People are such douchebags. Half the kids just blow and the other half are assholes. You will get 1/100 people that are nice and know what they are doing.

Yeah, little 11 year old's trying to play and I was on expert and he was asking what were the controls. :\

plus I hate playing with people who don't use their mic, it's so annoying because your unsure if they can hear you and thus can't really work together as a team like if they need help or if there's a hunter near etc.

I'll get it for 360 in a couple of weeks, the wallet is a bit tight this month.

Exactly. That's why I barely ever play online any more. The only game I've played on XBL recently was Team Fortress 2 because people actually played the game. Halo 3 quickly got stale simply because every game I would play on my own was a headache. If it's not some prepubescent screeching obscenities, it's some twenty-something throwing down racism or hate speech... to their own team.

The PSN isn't any better to be honest. People who play GTA online are just as prick-ish as the XBL crowd, so in essence the only good place to find quality players are on the PC. Especially when you find a server you mesh well with.

And I know what you mean Tom, I've yet to pick up Fable 2, Gears of War 2 and a few other titles including Castle Crashers (once they patch the damn thing) and really, I feel bad because no one is going to get a quality gift from me this year for the holidays.
