Nobody's done it on the scale you've been doing it. It's just a little ridiculous that it means so much to you. You can't even say it doesn't, because you're getting all bent out of shape about it right now as we speak.

I've never once postwhored to get this many posts. Yes, there've been nights I've posted a lot, but it's because of conversations or debates. Ask anyone here.

I don't agree with Todd changing your post count but I made 30,000 posts over the course of six and a half years.

At 13-14 posts a day (average) I don't see what the big deal with THAT is.

I dont see what the big deal with trying to talk to people on here is. Were just having fun. Why does it annoy you so much? Because you arent involved? Because theres an extra 5 pages on RT every time you wake up? Like its really THAT big of a deal...I really dont know why people are complaining.

 

i don't care about about the post count right now, i just find it amazing that they act before sending at least a warning like a normal people would do before doing something. And i've been here since 2005 and i never spammed, so at least he could have sent me something saying "stop with the bet, it's hurting the forums"

yeah and postcount isn't that important, i don't know why people even make threads to let everyone know how many posts they reach.

edit: alright, i'm fine with whatever you decide, i just would have stopped if someone told me DIRECTLY that i was doing something bad.

That's not it at all, though I can see where you're coming from. It's annoying because there's no need to make 70 posts in an hour for the sole purpose of padding your post count. I'm not saying YOU were doing that, but Johnny was, and he admitted to it. That's not conversing, that's spamming.

It's gotten especially bad like that over the course of the past couple weeks. It wasn't like that before.

But no, it has nothing to do with being "involved" in your guys' conversations at all. Half the time my posts are ignored anyway or you guys are posting so fast they get missed, so it doesn't bother me either way. Also, there are 5-7 new pages of Random Thoughts every time I wake up anyway, so that's not it either.

Plus postwhoring has been against the rules ever since I can remember.
