*sigh* why did Ronnie have to be such an idiot?

 

I don't know but hopefully he cleans up his act and joins a band just as good as Escape the Fate was with him.

I'm actually looking forward to their new record (they're in the studio with Craig) a lot. I really hope it's as brilliant as Dying Is Your Latest Fashion. I can't get tired of that record.

 

Yeah, I mean he thankfully didn't get too much time for what he did.

I'm looking forward to the new record (I absolutely loved Dying Is Your Latest Fashion) but I can't help but think Craig might not do it for me. He's a great vocalist for sure, but Ronnie's voice just had something, I don't know...different?

I know they're a terribly easy band for musical elites to rip on, but I love them.

 

I know what you mean. Bless the Fall was awesome with Craig but Escape the Fate is a completely different band. They have a sort of sleaziness to them and I think that's why Ronnie's voice fit with the band so well. That and he sings with a lot of passion, I think.

 

That's exactly the word I was looking for, "sleazy". The band (and Ronnie's voice particularly) just sound so....dirty.

Plus as you said, he actually seems to put some feeling into what he's singing about.

 

Yeah. They definitely seem like they'd have been a sweet '80s hair metal band.

 

good, I'm not the only one who thinks they look like they were born twenty years too late.

I'd always thought they seemed like they belonged more in Motley Crue than today's 'scene', lol.

 

Well, their drummer sure does look an awful lot like Slash, which is ironic considering he plays... drums.

 

to be honest they've all got a bit of an 'interesting' look going.


But yeah, that is kinda strange. I suppose there aren't many iconic looking drummers. Irony, lawl.

I'm never near any paper when I play something I like, so I just keep playing it till I can remember. Or I take the pen I'm always carrying, and try to tab it out on my arm. One day, I had like three little chunks of songs tabbed out on my left arm.

If I get that job, and it's fulltime, we can save about €10,000 in a year. :O
