Yes you do. I've found translated versions, but I'm not too bothered with reading them. I don't consider them canon really, considering the whole "human controller" is just wack

 

If I can find someone to find the Japanese versions and type up the text I'll try to translate it. The text is too blury on the ones I've found.. lol.
