That's what I thought at first as well. I haven't heard the acoustic version, but when I saw them live a couple weeks back he definitely said "my".

Then again, there are some pretty dodgy lyrics on Scream Aim Fire, so hey.

 

Yeah. I actually hate most of the lyrics on Scream Aim Fire. They took the Atreyu route with their lyrics, going from okay lyrics (Suicide Notes) to amazing lyrics (The Curse) to absolute shite lyrics (Death-Grip, Lead Sails). I'd have rather they'd taken the Trivium route. Save a couple songs, The Crusade's lyrics are ace.

 

at least their third album wasn't total shite, like Lead Sails.

That's the thing with The Crusade. I love the lyrics (bar a couple of songs), the instrumentation is great but feck me Matt's vocals make me want to tear my ears off.

Thankfully Matt said in Metal Hammer that there'll be more screaming in the next album. If they can combine The Crusade's instrumentation and lyrics with Ascendancy's vocals, it'll be ace.



...and I've just shown how much of a Trivium nerd I am.

 

I'd make an attempt to one-up your Trivium nerdery but I can't find (i.e. I somehow deleted) my Trivium discography. I had everything they'd ever legally released as well as dozens of demos, and it's all gone, after probably a year of putting it all together.

 

Oh shit, that sucks. How'd you manage to do that?

I own the self-titled demo, Ember to Inferno, Ascendancy, Ascendancy Special Edition and The Crusade. I'm probably missing something.

I've got no idea. The other day I wanted to show my buddy how similar The Crusade is to the stuff on their demo (which is really thrashy) but when I clicked over to my Trivium folder, the only thing in there was Ascendancy (because I'd re-ripped it a couple weeks ago). I don't know what the heck happened.

I had pretty much the same stuff as you but I had around ten non-album tracks. I can't think of what they were now though. Ugh.

Ah shit, that sucks. I've got a couple of b-sides from Ascendancy and The Crusade lying around on my computer, but I can't remember their names for the life of me.

While this is true, I'm a sucker for girls with short (around shoulder-length) hair. And in these couple wallpapers I found, she's got real short hair, and she looks brilliant.
