Oh fuck yes. I can play punk easier than I thought. Power chords FTW. Yeah, they'll be simple songs, but still. I'll be able to write what's been going through my head... sorta. I just need to make sure my dad doesn't find out, or I'll get chewed out. Yippee.

I forgot how good Jack Johnson was.

 

For using power chords. He's such a purist that he hates Drop D tuning, me not holding the guitar in the "standard" position, and power chords. He thinks it's either "wrong" or "lazy". And he hates punk. He doesn't see why "a bunch of arrogant teens have to buck authority".
