I feel like sitting down and playing a long RPG non stop for days. I haven't done that in years.

Today's a sad day in general. He dies, Brett Favre retires (Green Bay is mourning right now ) What else can happen?

Wow. That sucks. I've always thought about playing that to see how it was, but never got anyone else to join.

Wow I'm speechless. The D&D creators and Tolkien are really the founders of the Fantasy genre.

Wow, I feel sorry for all the nerds in Wisconsin actually. I mean, they cry everyday, but...this would be unbearable.

 

They were all busy healing the n00bs. I shouldn't talk though, I've never played D&D.

 

Maybe it was a desintegration or a petrifying spell?

 

Maybe.

But all jokes aside, the man was a great influence on a lot of people. Including me. I never played D&D, although I did play the D&D Online game. But his work influenced me to write a story based on a few folks who play D&D.

R.I.P. Gary Gygax

 

Yeah. I think he's one of the main inspirations for the current genre of MMO's out there. We wouldn't have WoW if it wasn't for this man IMHO.
