You sent me them a while ago, remember?

I liked it.

 

it's a cold world, too frozen for scarves and sweaters
and i'm hopin god could guard us before the dark could get us
and this time, my mind's sayin this could be the last
i'm livin it fast, i dash through my frivolous past
from the weeping to the tickles of an innocent laugh
trickles in slow motion emotions that i never could grasp
the world's spinnin fast, i got a hold on the grass
to keep from fallin off, and all in all i could slip or surpass
all the obstacles, a billion, my conscience is revealing that
sometimes we act silly and forget to be resilient
sing for the moment if you blink, then you could lose it
it's so foolish that i was clueless to the beauty that it produces
so know my verse is tellin it adversity is definite,
healing scars on a face imperfect, still don't let it blemish it
this is a message to the lonely soul i'm destined with,
it's scary as a fairy tale with no happily ever endlessness

 

Now THIS I've got to hear.

 

I fucking love Lacey Mosley's voice.

 

The thing is..she can change pitches and tones on a dime, and also can do a death metal scream like its nothing.

I'd like to see Amy Lee do that. Seriously...watch the acoustic sessions. You'll be convinced.
