That's because nobody will ever be Marilyn Monroe and anybody who tries to be like her is an idiot, because she's one of a kind.

I can tell even without looking at the pictures that they probably look terrible, because you just cant compare to a true Hollywood legend.

*EDIT* I just looked. She ain't even close. Yuck.

 

It wasn't so much that she was a bad role model, but more like so many men took advantage of her naivety and she (not having too much of a great self esteem) fell into these traps, which ultimately led to her early and untimely demise. She was used like raw meat, and it disgusts me because back then it's really all you could do to ensure a leading role in a big movie. You had to bang the producer/director.

For the record, I do not buy the suicide thing one bit, and are fairly confident someone had her murdered because her "suicide" looked far too staged for it to be real, and I recommend a read of her biography if you ever wanna get an idea of just how misunderstood she really was.

She was a good actress, very pretty for her time (and even pretty by today's standards) and had a heart of gold. It's just the scandals that plagued her throughout her short tumultuous life make her out to be worse of a person than she really was.

She was actually a very promising actress and should've lived decades past what she actually did.
