    I hope everyone knows I'm not trying to start an argument. I'm just saying it's not just Bushes fault. 9/11 had a lot to do with it, and that was other government officials that chose not to tell Bush about it. There was evidence of 9/11 during Clinton's administration, and no one chose to tell him either. Apparently, it wasn't a threat. But, lots of things have made the economy go south, and it's not JUST Bush. Like outsourcing. He has no control over that. Seriously, Hasbro is not run by George W. Bush. neither is Lego. Or Heinz. However, Heinz is owned by a certain former candidate's wife, I believe. You know, the candidate who accused Bush of outsourcing.

    What the HELL are you talking about? All I said was Clinton had a surplus and Bush wrecked it. Holy crap. No one said anything about outsourcing or ANYTHING.

    Plus Bush can pass laws banning outsourcing but he hasn't and no president probably ever will.

    :lol: I'm saying that Bush didn't wreck the economy, like everyone says. Outsourcing did. 9/11 did. Did Bush and the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq have to do with it? Hell yes. Did he do it singlehandedly? No.

    And the outsourcing laws will never pass because it's cheaper, and that's what the government's all about. Make more money for government officials, less for the common man.

    And I haven't had much sleep lately, so my thoughts are jumbled. Sorry.

    Yeah but Bush also put billions into a war that should have never been authorized and should have never been waged.

    Go to http://www.silent-hope.com if you want my opinions on Bush. Sure he isn't 100% to blame for what happened to the budget and America in the past 8 years, but his administration is highly responsible. He's far from a picture perfect president.

    Clinton had their mis-steps too. Which is why I wonder how the Clinton's expect us to believe Hillary will provide change when we already had Clinton's in the white house for 8 years.

    I totally agree with you Derek. That's why I'm rooting for Obama, and I have been since the beginning. I just hate how in all these pictures in the newspaper, the Republicans look like idiots. :lol: Sorry, I had to say that.

    I'm sorry I snapped. But your argument didn't make any sense at first. Saying something didn't exist when it clearly did didn't make a bit of sense to me.

    But I've been supporting Obama since the beginning too, I just never had a reason to be all about it until the primaries and things like that started. I think I've gotten all my friends convinced that they should vote for him.

    I'm actually going Independent possibly because this whole entire administration (not just Bush himself) has brought shame to my party. I am a Republican, voted Republican back in 2004, but now are going for a Democratic candidate.

    If that's not a statement in favor of Obama's ability to change and unite the country I am not sure what is.

    I understand that I didn't make much sense. What I was trying to say was that if you put something down on paper, without any actual evidence to back it up, people can speculate like hell about it.

    @ Derek: I can't believe how much trouble the entire administration has caused. And I wasn't kidding about 10,000 dollar hammers. The military is ordering those things.

    That's the only reason I'm a Democrat, because they like blue.

    You know, I like that quote. I'm so tired of people acting like there's supposed to be certain areas that are "the ghetto" and "prepville", and liberal areas and conservative areas. It's one country, supposedly united as one.
