New MCR does sound like crap pretty much.. hopefully they'll come up with something better than that.

 

It just sounds like a generic pop-punk instrumental and not like something MCR would write at all.

I never thought I'd say this after how his live vocals used to sound, but Gerard's voice actually lifts this song up over it would be otherwise.

 

I'm pretty sure this has to do with the over-abudance of MCR lately here but your right...it blows.

 

Even us MCR-teenies are saying so.

 

Maybe this break they're taking til 2009 is a good idea. Especially if they're just going to write shit like that

Doc - Yeah, definitely agreed. Now I'd rather believe the 2009 album news, rather than the early/mid-2008 rumours.

Anya - It's not even been, what, 18 months right?

 

I dunno. Like Friskey said, I just think it plain blows. But that's just me, haha. It is a small portion of the song though, and it's live so.. I dunno maybe it would sound different in if mixed in a recording studio. We'll have to wait and see for the next album though. I'm surprised they're making new songs so soon though I mean.. if feels like the Black Parade hasn't even been out that long at all. I don't think it has at least.

Edit: Nvm, I didn't know they were going to take a break until 2009.

And yeah, it was...maybe a week last year that they released TBP.

 

They've played The Black Parade to death. It's been a over a year now since it's release and they're releasing 6 singles from it. I just want it to be gone It was a great album but they're milking all they can out of it.

OH! and FYI: Disenchanted sounded like Wham! when they first started playing it live (I saw it on the Alk3/Reggie tour). So, they could probably change this song up a lot when they go to record it.

Doc - I must say, I've never really warmed to either version of Disenchanted. I'd still like to see the Mama video, though.

 

Definitely true lol. I can only take MCR in moderation now because of it. It is an amazing album, but they're totally ruining it. I was just surprised they're making new material so fast, but I'm definitely not knocking it as long as they make something that's actually GOOD lol.
