I agree with you. Trust me, I'm pretty much like you: I listen to rock, most of the time I dress like an "emo" kid, but seriosly, I don't really cut myself and start talking that I want to die or something.

Stereotype is just plain wrong, and not only for the emo ppl, but for everyone. Just because you listen to some other music or dress, or whatever that you want to do doens't give the right to others to criticize you, or stereotype you.

I thought I'd just walk into this conversation, but I'm pretty much the same, I dress emo, and listen to emo (but metal too), but I'm pretty happy lately.
