Wait a minute! Didn't Barty Crouch also have an Invisibility Cloak in GoF?

 

Yes, but dumbledore checked the qualities of Harry's and it matched that of the requirements in the tale

He probably didn't get chance to seeing that Barty Snr was tranfigured into a bone and covered with it sometime after the second task is Goblet of Fire

It wasn't a day but 9 hours

And now it completes my HP nerdiness

 

That's not the issue. What's confusing me is the fact that there should be one invisibility cloak (just like there is one deathstick and one resurrection stone). Where did the other cloak, the one barty had, come from? ^o)

Grrr, everyone I know is going to see a bunch of concerts I want to go to.....

What do I get to go to? Warped. I mean Warped was fun but there were about 3 bands there that I really like enough to see live, and As I Lay Dying didn't even come to our city.

 

We don't know, it didn't tell us in the 4th book. Harry's cloak was passed down from father to son and from mother to daughter through James' family. Considering James is from pure blood his family tree must be aages old and it most of come across many battles etc. In the description that Dumbledore was going by was that yes the cloak is old and also in near perfect condition even though it may have had many spells and potions cast upon it.
