If you want a better band that is kinda like The Misfits (horror punk kinda thing), you should listen to Ink & Dagger. Good shit right there.

not really, to be honest. you know who suck? velvet underground. these arms are snakes. most of those bands that you can't decipher what they're saying over their blarring guitars and feedback. etc etc.

 

Hey, I'm into it, whatever works out for me is all good. Whatever works out for all of you is all good too. I just like speaking about this stuff. I should get on Pitchfork or something, they'd probably eat me alive though, they up the asshole percentage to eight million.

I don't really consider me an elitist though. Big mouthed yeah, but elitist, not really.

 

i think you'd fit right in at pitchfork, to be honest. they shit on generally anything mainstream (save stuff like Lil' Wayne and the like), and like the pretentious screamo/shoegaze/ambient bullshit.

I mean, not to sound like a Nine Inch Nails mark, but they gave The Fragile an abomination of a rating. I believe they did the same for Tool, if I'm not mistaken. But yet they like Lil' Wayne. Don't get me wrong, I like to bump Fireman or Make It Rain in my system every now and then, but to rate Wayne above Nine Inch Nails or Tool?

They must have some bomb ass ganja.

 

Yet I listen to AC/DC, and don't wear their shirt.

 

Meh, I like my mainstream shit too. I like my Brand New, my Fall Out Boy (Infinity on High and Take This To Your Grave only, Cork Tree wasn't good), my Taking Back Sunday, and other things like John Mayer, Rich Boy, and Gangstarr and stuff.

And I don't even like Nine Inch Nails, but if you give The Fragile anything below a 7/10, then there's something messed up with you.

 

atleast you aren't a complete elitist prick like most of the writers at pitchfork. that site just upsets me most of the time.

they shit on mars volta alot too, which pisses me off to no end.

 

Yeah, there Frances the Mute review was biased. They're just pissed because At The Drive-In broke up and are bitter over it, just like every other indie website, magazine, and listener.
