I once heard him growl in a By Myself video, at the end of the bridge. My ears exploded from the insanity. I was never able to find it again.
We must find it
Would this be it? Just skip to 2:23.
Oh shit he does growl a little bit at the end of "outside"
And he does a half scream thing at "what you tell me to" (2:05)
Holy mother of fuck! That's it! If only Mike put half of that effort into the shows nowadays...
When Chester's voice completely gives out, we'll get THP 2 with Mike screaming the entire thing.
Bet Mike scream in some of a mtm demos
"Hold on, the weight of the world will give you the strength to go" I'm sure Atlas would have disagreed.
It's not that Mike doesn't put as much effort into live shows now, it's just that he doesn't have as much energy as he did 14 years ago. All the members (except for maybe Joe) put a lot of effort into making their shows as enjoyable as possible for their attendees.
Mike poster about THP winter tour on Instagram and mentioned that he is writing new stuff
One question about Recharged. It is an album created truly by Linkin Park (Mike and Joe) or an album with remixes from differents DJ's of the EDM music world? In other words, the songs of Recharged are work of LP or it's only a set from others artists? I don't understand this...
The remixes on that album were produced by a variety of artists. Whoever helmed each production has their name in the track title.
Shinoda produced two remixes himself and appeared as a guest vocalist (for lack of a better term) on two others. Hahn didn't contribute any production at all.
But then, we can't consider Recharged as an album of linkin park, no? because they haven't created the songs, right? I don't want to buy an album that has been created by musicians who are not my favorite band.
"Recharged" doesn't count as a studio album, no. It's a remix album.
Unfortunately for you, all of Linkin Park's studio releases (not to mention their remix-centric releases) feature audible contributions from musicians who aren't part of the band
then... if I have understood... Recharged it's not truly a work of Linkin Park, only a couple of songs of Shinoda, right? the rest of the set has been created by the DJ's (sorry for my english)
Yes, RECHARGED is more like a collaboration with other DJ's, Mike Shinoda only remixed CASTLE OF GLASS and VICTIMIZED on this album, along with singing new verses on some remixes.
Ok, thanks for the information!
Shinoda and co. would have personally invited the roster of artists to remix the Linkin Park songs, yes. Like "Reanimation", it's an official Linkin Park release, just not a studio album.
