I've thought this for a while now, but never got around to posting it.... Is it just me or does the intro to this sound suspiciously like Papercut...? NOTE: This is not a shot at Skillet - i think they're amazing!
Okay, has anyone noticed that the drums in the beginning of Mike's remix of Victimized are the same as in Eyeless by Slipknot? Same pattern, just a bit different sound. You only need to hear the first ten seconds, if you don't want to listen. (But you should, as you can't see California without Marlon Brando's eyes.) And for those that don't know Mike's remix, I guess... Started listening to some more Fort Minor. Anyone think Chester would have been great singing on Red to Black?
Wouldn't have hurt the song, but it would have instantly become LINKIN PARK if that had happened "Red To Black" was an instant favourite off "The Rising Tied" for me and remained one of my favourite Fort Minor songs for a very long time. Definitely one of the live show's biggest highlights
"The Hard Way" still holds up today, in my opinion. I feel that it's one of the best things to come out of the side-project
It bugs me that Mike says "all prime-time Imma let that bass bang low" when the song is not that bass-heavy.
So I found one of my old walkman cassette tape players that still actually works. I had a set up at my mom and dad's house where I could record myself singing to tape. I put one of those tapes in and am currently listening to my 17-20 year old self singing, rapping and screaming Hybrid Theory and Meteora songs! The best part is that I actually don't sound so bad! Anyways, this is fun. It is like a time capsule!
Cant believe that this, my first concert EVER, is already 4 years ago. After 2009, when i start listening to music, especially Linkin Park , i just wanted togo to a concert. So , my first concert , i wasnt able to go alone ( i was 15 years old). So my father took me and a friend to the concert. The band before Linkin Park was called "Futureheads" , nothing what stuck in my head for long time , so nothing special to me. Setlist: The Requiem Wretches and Kings Papercut Given Up New Divide Faint Empty Spaces When They Come for Me No More Sorrow Jornada del Muerto Waiting for the End Wisdom, Justice, and Love Iridescent Numb The Radiance Breaking the Habit Shadow of the Day Crawling One Step Closer Encore: Fallout The Catalyst The Messenger In the End What I've Done Bleed It Out Ok , it was a normally 90 min set by Linkin Park , but the setlist was in my opinion really awesome, when i am thinking about it now. The intro with The Requiem exploding into the bass heavy Wretches And Kings was just pure power! They should performe it more often in my opinion. Same with When They Come For Me (especially the intro with Chester drumming ) and New Divide (IN FULL). Such great live songs. also great in my opinion: Iridescent in full , such an amazing song, and also the band performance on the bridge is just great *dream*. One of my highlights maybe: The Messenger, it was such a greatt performance by Chester. It brings me everytime tears into my eyes. But on Bleed It Out i think Chester failed a bit , thought he would perform the APFMH bridge in full All in all one of the mostly best moments of my life until yet, without a doubt. Next Concert : Today in 14 days in Oberhausen. Hope it will be atleast as awesome as the show in Dortmund
