Every song in the next Linkin Park album should end with "put the heavy shit there" before kicking into the next badass rock song. Fuck it, I'm making a compilation of best heavy Linkin Park songs with just Guilty All The Same 20 times. With two bonus tracks, Guilty All The Same and Guilty All The Same.
I wish LP would solve the legal issues around "She Couldn't", and finally master it properly then release on the next LPU or something. That would be amazing
Much agreed. The Raid 2 was absolutely insane, but it missed the mark slightly for me due in part to the overall underwhelming soundtrack.
I listened to A Thousand suns for the first time in a while earlier. I decided to try something different. I removed The Messenger (since it felt out of place with the rest of the album, although I love the song itself), and placed Fallout & The Catalyst after Wretches & Kings, and subsequently Wisdom, Justice, and Love and Iridescent at the end of the album. I think this flows better than the album in proper order. A lot of people liked The Messenger, but felt it was out place. This is the solution to that problem to still give the album a "happy ending". As for the album itself, I like it better every time I hear it.
Now that I've actually taken a look at it, it turns out that this thing isn't worth a news post at all so I'll just embed it here. It's just another segment of that Google Play back-and-forth.
I know that the band has its reasons for not playing it live but goddammit nothing they've made beats the energy of this song. Phoenix almost slips in the middle It's interesting how excited Brad is through out the performance: That either or video is too short. Such a tease.
Yeah, to be playing a different song at a different show three years before the band would ever write "QWERTY"
I posted this in the shoutbox but I think its an interesting interview. Its pretty long. Its from the magazine Rob was featured in. Lot of stuff about THP. If the link is not allowed to be posted here I'll delete my post. I just thought it was worth sharing. http://fyeahrobbourdon.tumblr.com/p...iew-in-modern-drummer-september#disqus_thread
Yesterday there was a friendly football match between Slovakia and Malta, but instead of Malta's anthem they've started playing Numb:
