Hi everybody. I made a video about the 1st Linkin Park show in Hungary. This is my 1st ever video, so there are some little mistakes.
Yes and it'll probably be pretty special. Maybe recordings of some of the many acoustic performances they did to promote OML
And not only that, I'm sure what's happening with LPU is likely still being decided at this moment. I can't imagine what a mess things are right now with all that's happened.
Something really cool happened today. I was out with a few friends at a theme park and we were in the arcade. They had a Guitar Hero machine (since when did these exist?!). As a huge fan of GH I had to go on it. I was scrolling through the songs and actually saw that No More Sorrow was on there so that was the obvious choice. As I was setting the song up a loading a guy next to me goes "so you like Linkin Park then?". Trying to downplay just how true that statement was, I simply replied "yep they're my favourite band". he pulled his sleeve up and he had the LP logo tattooed on his arm!! He (badly) sang the song as I played it then we went our separate ways. Was a pretty cool moment
If there is an LPU this year, then we won't hear about it until next month. I think there will be one though, and if not this year, then next year. I'd like to see a compilation of unreleased demos and tracks with Chester's vocals, as well as a special LPU bundle.
I think a special Chester album will be put out some time, but it shouldn't be a LPU. This should be released as a full lenght album, with worldwide marketing release and everything.
Who knows, maybe at this point they're already writing for album 8. They need to heal, and to heal, they have to express it through songs. We've seen snapchat posted by Anna about Mike recording in his home studio. That could be a hint.
That's one thing I don't think many people consider. Regardless of what happens with Linkin Park, you can't keep a guy like Shinoda from making music. It's part of his DNA and who he is. He lives and breathes music. So whether it be a film score, a Fort Minor record, or a new Linkin Park record...we'll be getting more music within the next few years. I have zero doubts.
