*Shrugs* Not sure about that, maybe as a last minute surprised headliner like they've done it at the Warped Tour. But I still think LP has a good chance of headlining Voodoo Experience at New Orleans this fall. I'll be very happy if that's true, because they haven't been to my hometown on tour for 11 years.
a question guys. im thinking of joining the LPU with the purpuse of wanting to buy those lpunderground cds . i find a lot of the Music on those cds are really nice. also im a Little bit of a collector of lp cds. i dont really understand the payment of Everything in there. can i just register for free and then buy the cds? or do i have to pay for a subscription of some kind and with it i get a new lpu cd every year and then bi can buy the older lpu cds if i want? sorry for my bad English. im just after the cds and Music. or is there Another way of getting these cds without joining the lpu and pay as much.
I think LP should drop the Transformers thing and call it a day. Imagine Dragons' mesh of pop-electronica sounds and fast-paced drumbeats are better suited for those kinds of movies.
Haven't they already? I mean, there's "Until It's Gone" being used for the "Rise Of The Dark Spark" trailer but, other than that, I think they've more or less severed ties with the franchise.

Well, Mike did said that he doesn't mind if their fans download their music illegally. Same goes with Trent. If Metallica was on the top 20, Lars would be upset about it again.
Seems like "Recharged" was a pretty hot album last year. If you're referring to that "download that shit!" quote, that's been misunderstood.
Really? I've heard about his thoughts on online piracy somewhere at another forums-related site about music artists and performers who gave permission to their fans to do it. I guess it wasn't the most accurate place I was at.
What I mean is that Shinoda encouraged fans to download demos and B-sides which, at the time, weren't readily available on any of the band's official releases. He's not promoting straight-up piracy and claiming that all music should be free.
I remember reading Mike saying he didn't mind if you downloaded the music, just don't download the singles, download the entire record.
In regards to leaks, Shinoda said that he understood that excited fans would not be able to wait, and that, whether or not they'd downloaded the album illegally, they should listen to the songs in order to get the best experience.
I also remember an interview in which Mike was asked about his support of free music, the interviewer citing We Major as an example of free music released by Shinoda. He answered that he did support free music, but also found that if you like something, you should buy it.
I think he was referring to the rumor that UIG was written specifically for the movie before being passed over, and that since it happened, maybe have it being used for the game be the official end for it. Which seems like what they did, but you never know. I personally would like to believe they're more or less done with the whole themesong shtick.
