It'll be interesting to look back on how they documented the making of this album with social media VS. the traditional method of YouTube videos and documentaries.
We can do a "state of the album" post, where we summarize everything the band has done and shared from the new album since they went into the studio last year. Include all the videos, clips, relevant images and what we know.
That was quite interesting! This sounds like what I was hoping the album would go. Very chill instrumental.
I just read that LP had worked up a demo for "Transformers: Age Of Extinction" that obviously didn't end up making the cut. I don't remember if I'd ever read that before
I thought Until It's Gone was supposed to be a Transformers single. Edit: Damn, 2 minutes late. --- I think it would be cool an official post about the new album updates. We already have a lot of demo's names.
CHAIR (1999 Part Of Me Demo) released as a download to LPU members, Mike refers to it as Xero demo? And hints at it being a part of it being a part of the Demo tape they sent Chester(?) unless I'm misunderstanding
I wish I hadn't stopped listening to LP after the early 2000s. For the passed few months I've now been listening to them again and catching up with their albums and updates. Learning more about them in general. I still wish to see them in concert one day.
Never too late to catch up. I didn't even know they existed until 2007 and heard "What I've Done" in the Transformers movie. I bet in some ways, it's kinda fun to catch up to the band after so long. They've done so much that there's a lot to explore.
I rarely listen to them anymore but I do definitely notice that there's a before-and-after-Meteora in LP's career. After Meteora, they pretty much never went back to that sound.
Last Tuesday I saw Guns N' Roses live and I realise how awful LP sets are. Well, maybe 'awful' is not the appropiate word but, come on! LP have enough material to make a 120-150 minutes concert. Why they are still performing 90 minutes sets? They need to make longer sets.
First: I also want to see them (also if i saw Slash live and he was fucking amazing). Second: You cant compare these bands i think
I'm not comparing them. I'm saying that after that show I realised that LP sets are too short. Does anyone knows the reason?
