"Rally Outside of Atlantic HQ" Thread (OCTOBER 15TH, FIASCO FRIDAY)

I guess we will see once we get it. I take it Atlantic saw the speech that Lupe did and was like, "OH SHIT THIS DUDE IS GOING TO RUIN US!"

 

Hi, I'm a little late updating, but as you're all aware, there has finally been a confirmed release date; 8th March 2011. With a single due on the 26th October 2010!

Thank you everyone, for all the support.

In regards to the rally, it will still go ahead, as a sort of victory march.

 

Still sucks that we have to wait even longer . . . but, should still be awesome.

 

Yeah. A whole six months... Quite annoying, to be honest. But, hopefully Atlantic will use that time to promote the album. So far, the only promotion that's been done has been through us, the fans.

 

And by that time, here's to hoping Food & Liquor II: The Great American Rap Album is done as well. Hopefully Atlantic has entertained the thought of releasing 2 Lupe albums in the same fiscal year.

 

I think the reason why it's going to be released in March is because I think Lupe is gonna record some new songs for it. We may see some songs that were meant to be on F&L2:TGARA end up being on Lasers.

Haha, I almost forgot about that since we finally got a release date for L.A.S.E.R.S.

 

The rally went ahead, as a type of celebration, but also to demonstrate the support for Lupe, and some promotion for the album.
It is also to show the struggles of artists within the industry.
