Rage. Audioslave is okay, but it doesn't beat Rage.

    Rage Against the Machine.

Audioslave's guitar melodies sound far too similar to Rage Against the Machine, and Cornell's voice just doens't synchronize with that type of music. I agree with Mark, Audioslave's songs are too boring, it's as if Tom Morello and Chris Cornell wanted to rush the album out right after they started.

aparrently Audioslave have loads of new songs already recorded for their new album so can't be too far away.

    Is this a joke?

RATM for sure! Audioslave's stuff is decent, but it has nowhere near the edge or creativity they had with Zach. Tom Morello's riffs/solos save this album from being another indistinguishable mainstream alt-rock album.

And apparently Chris Cornell said he wasn't gonna sing anything "political", so thats just another restraint to the former rage musicians...

This one is a blow out. Soundgarden was great. But without Soundgarden Cornell is nothing. Same with Morello and the group with Zack De La Roach.

    It's "de la Rocha".

Rage is better by far. I like Audioslave because of Chris Cornell's singing but we can't compare him to Zack because he's a rapper. We can just compare the overall sound. Rage would keep me up all night. But some Audioslave songs would send me to sleep (Like A Stone....zzzzzzz). I also like Audioslave for the guitar, but is really similar to Rage's....

I dont like either of them too much, but unless I need a quick way to fall asleep, then Rage is better.

I like both, and I like SOUNDGARDEN as well
I have records of all three, and I wouldn't say that one of them is bad, because they're all great
