<div align=center> </div> And I do believe that would give you all my answer. No, those are not manipulated into my hands for any of you who are thinking that.
As soon as I saw you viewing the thread, I knew what your vote was going to be.
Should have voted DS just to fool you. Haha.
awe poor DS Dont have either one But I think both sony and nintendo made the right choices.......for their own audiences The psp appeals to the older crowd much like the ps2 and even the ps1 did. The DS is more appealing to the younger crowd. Younger kids dont care about graphics or music....they care just about having fun in the car while mom picks up the groceries. I personally dont care for portables I'd rather save my money for a PS3
Trust me,the graphics do not surpass the PS2
I've been told off of the assistants in many-a-stores that the graphics card is much stronger. I've played one and the graphics where amzing. But it's just what I've been told so I could be wrong. *shrugs*
PSP is by far the better of the two , the DS is boring and doesn't have much to it , and the PSP does and the graphis on the PSP are amazing.

But it's just what I've been told so I could be wrong. *shrugs*
It's hard to tell at this stage in the game. Most of the PSP games out now were rushed or only developed within the months to come to the PSP release not giving companies enough time to fine tune everything. Need For Speed Underground Rivals is a perfect example of that.
Well I've only played my friends' PSP. I don't know about the DS, but I don't care much for Nintendo for it's childish type of gaming and graphics. I prefer good graphics and good gameplay, along with many options to do many different things; i.e watch movies and listen to music. Plus Aaron chose PSP so I've gotta go with that.
DS has two votes now. Armageddon is upon us. I own a DS. I love not having to exchange carts between games. I can have a DS game in and a GBA game in and not have to remove anything to switch between the two. My friend and I also played picto-chat in his basement once and it was pretty freakin fun. We spent like an hour drawing and insulting each other over it. I think it's kinda funny how you mention that the graphics of the PSP are so great and such. Well so what? I'm for the game, not for the graphics. I've had a lot of fun with the demo of Metroid Prime Hunters, and sure the controls are a bit weird, but I'm left-handed, which doesn't make the controls any easier because I'm pretty sure they're easier the right-handed way (I wouldn't know). I've also seen somewhere in this topic that the whole touch idea isn't of their taste. I play Super Mario 64DS without using the touch screen all the time. I just use the buttons. Works much better if you ask me. I've seen people talking about how the PSP has the ability to play MP3s and music videos and such. Well I got one of these to play my MP3s and I could really careless about watching videos and if I really wanted to, my brother has a portable DVD player for the road, I have my own stand alone DVD player, and my dad has a DVD player with surround sound set up right outside my room.
I like the DS, but only because I own one. I like PSP a lot, but I'll probably never get one. My friend has a PSP and it's awesome. The screen is so clear, especially for the movies.
Well, I think both systems are great. I find that psp has a lot of fanboys though who thinks graphics are everything and no doubt about it, graphics are a big thing. But the whole psp thing is so overrated. A lot of people everywere seem to be saying, "the psp is better and looks beautiful. DS is childish". I totally disagree. Nintendo has shown many stuff that's not childish. It's just that sony has a larger follow up. Many people who think the Ds is stupid probably havent played it. And those who have played it, and still think it sucks, the more power to you. My theory is that psp is goen bigger than the ds because it's the first hand held sony system (correct me if Im wrong) and nintendo has been putting out hand held's since the 90's. I disagree with the DS's choice of launch titles however. I havent seen one game so far that would appeal to me really, but Im hearing that a lot that are coming out are going to be awesome. Quite personally, I think the psp is better, but only because you get more features. But if the PSP had only gameplay, I would definately choose ds. I just think that the whole touch double screen, stylus idea is so creative and innovative. Kudos to nintendo and kudos to Sony.
I said childish because most Nintendo games are directed towards those around 13 and under. Sure, I love Mario, sure older people play nintendo games. Not the point. Mario is a great game. But Nintendo thrives off of Mario. I'm sorry if I like good graphics, but I don't have fun playing a game that looks stupid. I love good gameplay of course, but I don't find any good gameplay in, like I said, something that looks stupid. Your right, I've never played the DS. Probably never will because I don't know anyone who has one, and I'm definately not choosing it over a PSP if I buy anything, just because I've seen a PSP, and it is awesome. The double screen was creative but doesn't interest me. But saying the PSP is overrated, I don't think so. It has so many capabilities, it's better than the PS2 (I've heard) and the big thing is that it's portable. So if you have a portable dvd player and cd player or an iPod, and you want to get the DS then fine. Point is the PSP can watch DVD's, connect to the internet, play music and games, and probably more.

And overrated was the wrong word to use now that I think about it. I was just expressing my views on how it gets the attention it deserves, but the DS isnt, that's all. heh heh

I'm sure the DS is a fine portable console, but from what I've seen and know I prefer the PSP.

Oh so you're saying a game with bad graphics is stupid? What about Perfect Dark? That game has some pretty bad graphics but it's still one of the best FPS games today. 3. The double screen might not intrest you. That's fine. 4. Just because the PSP can play mp3s and etc. doesn't make it a better gaming machine. It might be a nice addition, but yet I have a protable dvd player and iPod so why get something similiar to it? It's a waste of money in my eyes. But if you were to get the PSP for the games, that's a different story.
