    Your right.
Mike is The Glue he knows the band better than anyone else and knows all their potential but who would be a good producer/co-producer?????
Don Gilmore:no. (for reasons just read the thread).
Jay Z: loads of things would change and Brad would barely play the guitar let alone improve, Chester would barely scream, Mike would always be rapping.
So .....who is this Rick Rubin? ^_^'

    Thats overdoing it [/b][/quote]
Maybe, but would'nt it be cool? I mean I always hear rock fans whining that LP had to much hiphop, and that they dont like a DJ scraching it up. So maken a seperate Rock album and a separete Hip hop album AND a normal fusion LP album would be the perfect solution for everyone!

Rick Rubin has produced lots of songs for Roc-A-Fella and def jam.

He's most recent hit is "99 Problems" by Jay-Z.
Hes also done work with Beastie boys and lots of metal/rock bands.
I think he's a good choice producer for LP cos he defines what LP is all about, rap/rock.

I really don't like the idea of making separte cd's. I like the fusion LP is doing and I think it's great.
If you only like rock fine, if you only like rap fine, I mean why buy lp if you only like one? LP is about the fusion.
That's why I think Rick Rubin would be a good producer after RX8LP told me who he was.(Thanks ^_^ )

I think it sohuld be either mike or josh abraham. If it is Josh Abraham then mike should co-produce it.

Actually a Shady/ Aftermath production would be sweet. :chemist:

Well, I hope you remember LP isn't just about Rap/Rock, that's why they have the electronica track on each of their albums.

Rick Rubin would still be cool though, since I'm sure Jay-Z would be able to recommend Rick to LP after Collision occured.

Why does everyone keep referring to the Mr Hahn tracks on each CD has Electronica?!

That's about as far way from Electronica as one could get. It's simply just DJ'ing, with a few voice samples thrown in.

Meh. I guess everyone has different opinions on what is what.

I hate electronica and I love Joe Hahn's DJing so I have to agree with you it's not electronica.

BTW who are some bands that have elcetronica in them incase I'm wrong??? :wth:

timbaland ummmm, he's alright aswell. I used to be a major fan. But then he did duets with justin timberlake and Nelly Furtado.:wth:

ok, id rather a producer who has experience with rock muisc
russell simmons modernized the whole rock and hip-hop combination with "walk this way" run dmc and aerosmith, the run DMC album "Kings of rock" and he was the beastie boys producer aswell. He's a legend in his own right.
