Impeaching Bush at this point would be more than a little silly. Everyone has dealt with Bush for just under 8 years, and hated him along the way, but now that the election is just a few months away, why get pushy? I mean really.
Impeaching anyone in the office at this point is just senseless. It isn't going to hurt or help anything seeing as the election is less than 5 months away. Still, whoever does get elected next, not much is going to change anyway. For as long as I've been alive, this country has only gotten worse and worse every single year. Why should I believe things will get better NOW?
I'm in agreement. The problems in our government doesnt lie with who is in the White House, it lies with all the idiots in Congress. Yet, we continue to re-elect those same idiots every election. My hope is that Obama changes the political landscape enough so that either the "old guard" of career Senators and Representatives get the boot or other political parties and independents finally get a seat at the table. Nothing will change until there is significant turnover in Congress.
I still believe Ron Paul should keep running. Perhaps the Media has lied to us about what He'd do, and Twisted his words. Methinks.
How do you know your media has been telling you the Truth about Ron Paul? I mean, There are super-rich people who've bought and control what you know and what you're not allowed to know. For example , Yesterday, did you know there was a March on DC?
Well all we know about all the candidates is from some form of media or another, so if we can't trust that then we know nothing about anyone, which still gives us no reason to want to vote for Ron Paul. It seems he's either a whackjob, or we know absolutely nothing about him. Either way, that doesn't make him deserve anyone's vote.
"One last point I want to make about these e-mails, though. And I think this has an impact on this "New Yorker" cover. This is actually an insult against Muslim-Americans, something that we don't spend a lot of time talking about. And sometimes I've been derelict in pointing that out. You know, there are wonderful Muslim-Americans all across the country who are doing wonderful things. And for this to be used as sort of an insult, or to raise suspicions about me, I think is unfortunate. And it's not what America's all about." - Obama on Larry King tonight Thank you so much for finally saying that Obama. It means a lot, and I am not even of islamic faith.
Social security is just another tax, why else are people's money disappearing? The government is using it to fund other stuff. Department of education? America Used to have a damn nice Education system until The department got into the presidents cabinet. Besides, Do you want the goverment deciding weather your school is "good" or "bad" ? How about the neighboorhoods parents decide, if their kids are learning enough or not? So if parents agree Banning the Rights of gay Marriage is something wrong; But not everyone yet agrees thats 'okay' ( I think it's fine, Gay marriages should be legal D:< ) I'm not pro-abortion, but I'm saying it shouldn't be illegal. If you want to, go ahead.
obama is now here, in germany, berlin to be precise. it's a bit sad i can't see him "live" but nonetheless there is a huge amount of hype everywhere, news, radio, newspaper... there are over 100.000 people expected to be there when he will speak as a part his election campaign. just wanted to let you guys know that he is much appreciated over here at the other side of the ocean .
I am surprised as hell. How could the Republicans manage to nominate someone, even less intelligent than Bush? I didn't think the possibility of it existed, but McCain's almost daily gaffes and low brow (and nonsensical) ads just prove me wrong everyday.
I don't usually post in here, but I thought I'd reply to this post. I'm not attacking you or your views maverik, just stating what my thoughts are to your points based on my experiences. Yes, social security is another tax. There's a reason this is so. Because if most Americans had a choice to pay money to support the elderly, they wouldn't. If we do that, then we'd get nitwit parents who get offended because their kids are learning Spanish when we should be learning 'American.' We'd get parents who petition because the Bible states that, if using the current formula for circumference, the value of pi is 3. We'd get parents who complain that evolution or intelligent design are or are not being taught in schools. Actually, we probably wouldn't even get that far because there'd be too big of a fuss over the Pledge of Allegiance. There'd be people who want to remove God, keep it in, or eliminate the damn thing altogether because pledging allegiance to the flag is basically 'praying to a false idol' which is prohibited by many religions. And before you ask, I've heard all of these things from parents in my neighborhood. The government may not be the best for deciding education issues, but it'd be a lot damn better than the masses. Sounds like John Kerry to me.
Obama campaign launches new site: www.lowroadexpress.com For anybody who said Obama is too much of a pacifist, the site above shows that Obama is ready to fight.
I never thought I'd see Obama standing in front of my old school's logo, since that school is in the middle of redneck county in Missouri, but there he is. Now if only that was my own photo and not one I stole off of Facebook Hell, I've got a photo of me standing in front of that same very piece of green whateverthehellthatis at my graduation
