Haven't seen the video yet as I'm watching the entire episode (it's rerunning on MSNBC right now). This should be good though.
http://upperplaygroundglobal.blogspot.com/2008/05/alex-pardee-x-obama-x-upper-playground.html I just found those cool posters designed by Alex Pardee (The Used, In Flames, Aiden) if anyone is interested. They look really good.
Olbermann's special comment......HOLY SHIT! And such an awesome picture: Full video of the endorsement:
"My friend and your friend, Senator Hillary Clinton..." *CROWD BOOS* Oh my, not the reaction John Edwards anticipated .
Well he was extremely pro-Clinton at first, so I can understand how to some it could've came off that way.
Obama draws record crowd of 75,000+ plus in Oregon. Amount of people described as that of a 'small city': http://my.barackobama.com/page/community/post/stateupdates/gGBfJH I think it's safe to say Oregon's in the bag.
I would say it is BECAUSE the nation has such a history of political assassination that she is okay to mention it. Just because it is scary doesn't mean she should have to ignore it. If assassination NEVER happened, then she would be out of line to throw it out there, but it did happen, and often enough for it to be the "nation's deepest shame, its most enduring horror". To recall this fact is not an unfair thing to do. Now, whether she should stay in or duck out of the race and reenter IF something (severe or minor) were to invoke Obama's excision from the race is a different story. But to ignore facts because you might hurt the Kennedy's and some people's feelings by giving them a 5 second history lesson is as ridiculous as it is despicable.
