I was only able to catch the last 10 minutes of his show tonight. Best 10 minutes on a news network I have seen in a while. We need more reporters like Keith. He nailed it (like he always does). On another note, the Colbert Report tonight was one of the funniest I have ever seen
He's awesome. I've been watching his show every night for over a year, and he has no problem telling the truth, no matter how many people it will piss off.
Holy crap. That is the most truthful attack of the Hillary Campaign that I have seen thus far. It's true on every level and I'm honestly quite depressed that it only has 68 digs. It needs far more.
While debating this issue with my friend who is a Hillary fan, we came across an interesting agreement:
LOL @ the ending remark by your friend. And I couldn't agree more. People are just intolerant and ignorant.
The Obama campaign just layed the smackdown on the Clinton campaign: http://www.npr.org/blogs/news/2008/03/obama_campaign_skewers_clinton.html PWNED
I don't think that's in any way an official release of the Obama campaign, more like an inside the campaign joke that got leaked out to the public. Still true and awesome nonetheless.
And all hail he who used to be a sportscaster, so satisfyingly filling the role of weeknight news anchor. The man is the saving grace of news today.
And the Keith vid actually has almost 5000 diggs (another digger posted it with link to the youtubez) http://digg.com/political_opinion/FINALLY_Keith_Olbermann_rips_Hillary_to_shreds
I never saw anyone post this, so...Rob Sheridan, better known as Demonbaby and who also is the graphic design bitch for NIN, wrote this article on why he voted for Obama on Super Tuesday. EDIT- Obama's speech this morning for those of you who did not get to watch. It brought tears to my eyes.
Amazing speech. Amazing job of honestly and truthfully addressing the issue of race as it concerns himself, his campaign, his pastor, Hillary, and the country as a whole.
If anybody is familiar with Chris Matthews (Hardball - MSNBC), that speech actually choked him up and he fully threw his support behind Barack Obama today. He said the speech is probably one of the best speeches he's ever heard given in regards to race in Politics, and says that it should be a speech that is required to be watched in the Schools. He said First Graders should be shown this video immediately, and that it should also be shown to College kids before they go out into the world. Needless to say, Chris was stunned beyond belief.
wow....that really came from Chris Matthews? I still can't stand the guy. But now I'm going to go cook me up some dinner and watch Countdown with Keith Olbermann, as I do every night.
Yes it came from Chris Matthews. He was left speechless for once, which is both a blessing and a surprise lol.
http://en.wikisource.org/wiki/Remarks_of_Senator_Barack_Obama:_We_the_People If anyone wants to read the speech.
