I loved that. About time he laid down the hammer and just said no. It shows pure leadership skill and that he won't back down for anybody...not even Hillary.
I know this is late but... I pushed a button and elected him to office and uh - He pushed the button and stopped the war You pushed the button and could watch it on the television Those motherf**kers lasted a bit too long huh-huh He's sick of hearing about the have's and the have not's Have some personal accountability The biggest problem with the way that they've been doing things is The more they let you have the less that they'll be keeping for George W. B. Well I'm still standing for something Won't VP to Hillary, no! Traded in psychos for this guy He signs his name with a capital O
You win teh internet And it's just awesome to see all the people supporting Obama. It seems like every time I log into Facebook, one of my friends has added that they're supporting Obama. Even people I never would've expected to support him, or any Democrat for that matter. 'Tis fucking great
I guess I could have said Capital B, but that'd be just lame. I wonder if I could format all of Year Zero to be an Obama campaign.
w00t at Mississippi. My grandfather is from there and he claims it's one of the most racist states in the U.S. And Obama won. Oh sweet Lady, this is amazing.
Indeed. It's pretty interesting because he has probably the strangest following ever. And if they were to actually look into what he supports, they'd probably leave in a flash.
One of my friends was supporting him because he's the "anti-establishment" candidate. Bullshit reason IMO. Fortunately, once he realized the guy didn't have a snowman's chance in hell, he came to his senses and is now supporting Obama.
The nomination doesn't depend on anything, it's all pretty much done. All PA is going to do is determine how quickly she finally drops the fuck out 6 weeks is a long time, and I think we may be seeing several super delegates endorse Obama in the coming weeks, and if enough supers endorse, this could finally end the thing before PA. I think the supers want to see this thing over as much as we do, and want to end it before Billary do any more damage to the party.
She's won a lot of democratic states recentely though, and I'm sure if she wins PA she could make the arguement that she is the best candidate to win against John McCain because she's won some of the 'democratic strongholds'. Even though I disagree with her 'red states don't matter' mentality, I want Obama to win PA to really shut her the fuck up.
Thats the thing though, Democratic strongholds are going to be Democratic strongholds no matter who we nominate. Obama's done exceptionally well in some swing and red states and early polls have him winning in states like Iowa, Colorado, Nebraska, Washington and Oregon where Hillary probably wouldn't win.
I know if Obama doesn't get the nomination, I'm not voting. I refuse to vote for the lesser of two evils and will not contribute to the election of Clinton or McCain.
While you may be right, in this election nothing can be taken for granted (besides Barack getting the black vote). Hillary made that mistake, and look where she is. I do not want to see Barack make her mistakes.
Keith Olbermann completely pwned the Hillary campaign tonight, I suggest you watch: http://www.crooksandliars.com/2008/...t-a-campaign-strategy-this-is-a-suicide-pact/ Normally he reserves his special comments for republicans, but the fact he's doing one about a Democrat shows just how much she is dividing the party.
