I remember. Neon future pt. 1 had some cool stuff. The collab with Fall Out Boy gives me high hopes.

Didn't LP say they would put out a new album every 18 months, so if THP came out in June of 2014
means a new album would drop Q4 of 2015/Q1 of 2016

LT came 21 month after ATS, and THP came 24 monts after LT. We will soon have new STP, Chester will be going on tour, LP is touring again in May/June (they'll probably announce something for the summer too), so it'd be really optimistic to hope for new LP so soon. Also, the band should take some time. 2017 is totally fine.

Well , i think 6 months break before they start working + the 18 months they said, 24 month seems right. For this, summer 2016 would be the time.

I think it's pretty safe to assume that it will drop in the summer of 2016.

Nah, I changed my mind.. I don't care for a new album soon. It's gonna share the same fate as to LIVING THINGS & THP. They don't pay attention on playing new songs LIVE anymore. it's useless to make an album yet didn't even have proper promotion.

They need to take more time between each album so people can get more hyped. I feel people are tired of LP right now so they don't buy the albums as much. Give it 3+ years and people will be foaming at the mouth

I wouldn't mind waiting 3 years if that would mean a better album... Better to wait for a mindblowing album that I will listen to for years, than to have a new album every two years that I'll get bored by in 6 months.

i hardly disagree, i dont listen to a band just for hearing songs live, its more a extre for me

I would be happy with summer 2016.

Yeah, I understand what you mean. But for me, it's gonna be great for the band to return to MTM and ATS phases like 3 year gap per record. It's good to have that kind of mentality, you know. The idea of writing all the time is great, I don't have any problems with that. The important thing is to make a record that is special and memorable (see MTM and ATS). I like LT & THP but there's so much more potential for every song to be turned out great if they took more time in producing it. Just my 2 cents.

How long did it take to write Hybrid Theory even before Chester came in the band? It took the longest to make
thats why it will always be the best LP album. Pure heart and dedication for so many years.

Half of a decade of dedication and determination. Yeah! Just take more time in making a record to make it special. or they can put EPs in between album cycles to tease the fanbase, So by the time when the album drops, everybody will go nuts..
