No he didn't. He said there would hardly be any and it was quite soft.

Oooh nice. I'd almost forgotten about Snow White Tan/ Dead By Sunrise thanks to MtM.

I Hope this is confirmed, and I'd be interested to see how the album turns out.

For those of you wondering about the differences in the two versions of The Morning After, the one on YouTube that was remixed for the soundtrack is just like an Orgy song with Chester doing vocals.

Apparently the album track, from what I remember Chester saying, is much more straight-up hard rock. The album is supposed to be walls of guitars, some Depeche Mode/Cure influences, and non-screaming vocals.

The album version of 'The Morning After' was played on Club Tattoo Concert 2004. It's just a rock version with electric guitars.

let down is an impressive song, but that morning after remix is disgusting. It's so robotic, and doesnt seem like it should be heavy like that. The softer version is much better. I think chester's talents might be wasted on this album...

Wow, I can't believe this slip up haha. I guess Chester was not joking about a much less tight security while working on his solo album.

Can anyone tell what those categories which are X'ed out in the picture are? It looks like it may be the members' names and I guess whether their parts for the songs are complete or not? Just a guess.

uhh...actually Julien-K are the ones who produced the album basically. Amir is a producer, Brandon is an engineer. most likely Fu helped out as well since he is a part of the JK team

They definitely did not just throw it together fast, it's been in the works for quite some time now. We've heard bits and pieces of news (at least on the JK board) for the last year or so at least. Chester and JK worked really close together.

People were talking about when this and new LP (post MTM) should come out on LPU and one person said Linkin Park should release another album next year. Thinking that over, I responded with this...and I thought I'd post it here:

Those are my real thoughts on MTM after nearly a month of listens.

It's parts of the songs which have been recorded I believe.

@Derek, I think you made an excellent point there about MTM and the new "LP" sound.

@Derek, I don't agree about the part with the Given Up lyrics. You have to read it all. When you hear the "What the fuck is wrong with me" I think the most people would think he was screaming at somebody to make them stop pick on him.

Though this song is about himself. "I'm my own worst enemy". By the "what the fuck is wrong with me" he's NOT saying: "Why do you pick on me you bastards! Just because I'm a geek it dosn't give you a reason to beat me" but "Why do I think this way? Please save me from myself! There's something wrong with me! Help me!" which is not very 13 years old to think.

Very interesting find. Why is "Morning After" listed twice -- it's the first song, and last song, unless one is supposed to be a remix or something. Also, I wonder if "Iintroutro" is going to actually be just one song, or if it's going to be a similar sound and feel for the intro and outro, and they just put it into one line that has to be worked on instead of making it two separate entities up there...

oh, maybe i missed an interview..cause i remember him saying something about "tons of screaming"..and its not Minutes to Midnight, since that has just a couple songs with screaming in it..eh well.
