The Hype train is not stopping at all. CHOO CHOO!! My only fear is the promotion this album and singles would get. I still know so many people who haven't heard of GATS. The label needs to do a better job at promoting this and the album.
Not sure why you would write "possible album title" when this article confirms the title as The Hunting Party. If that's not enough, this guy interviewing Mike calls it The Hunting Party as well. http://www.complex.com/tv/shows/com...ing-with-rakim-and-not-making-music-for-radio
He even says June as the release date. Wonder what's taking so long for the official confirmation. :-/ It only gets official once the band members say it themselves. So far, none of them have said anything yet.
By the way: I listened to Guilty All The Same thousand times more, than to all LT Songs together. It don't get boring.
Song titles come off as pretty grand, eh? 'Keys to the Kingdom' 'The Wastelands' Beats the crisper, single-word ones from the past such as 'Papercut' or 'Meteora' by a country mile. The closest ones I can think of are from the last two albums - 'When They Come For Me' and 'Castle of Glass', so on and so forth.
This reads like an IGN review... Controversy? Meh Electronic elements? Let's see how it turns out Collaborations? Potentially cool Hunting Party title? well no shit Overall - 10/10 GOTY But nahh real talk though, If 6 out of 12 songs are guitar-heavy and the other 6 are electronic-heavy, I would not mind that even a little bit.
The reason we have been reluctant to 100% say The Hunting Party is the title (despite all signs pointing to it) is because the band hasn't exactly been on the same page as eachother this album cycle. You have one interview with a band member saying there's no other guest spots, then another interview and article that shows there are. You have Chester one week saying they have an album title and that they've already hid it in a video, only to say the following week that they aren't sure yet. Lastly, there's the infamous MTM interview where a band member alluded to the album being called In Triumph and Tragedy, even though Dave hated that title and as history now shows, it wasn't the final. So we are being careful because this band is notorious for changing their minds on shit.
To be fair, I can't think of any album cycle in which the band has been on the same page in terms of album description: - Chester and a few others were really big on naming Minutes To Midnight 'In Triumph and Tragedy' and went as far to give clues (such as giving the hint 'T & T') that was what the album was called. During your interview with Phoenix he shot that down completely. - A Thousand Suns was originally being discussed as very guitar heavy...turns out there was barely any guitar at all lol - Living Things was described as a step back to their roots however the album was still quite experimental. It looks like The Hunting Party is indeed the title of the album however it's probably best to wait for an official announcement. Indicators aren't confirmation (any driver out there knows that lol)
What high horse? No, every cycle we get an influx of people saying a bunch of stupid shit about the album or posting things that were debunked months ago or are just flat out fake. It's a fact.
It's been confirmed by the new Rolling Stone that Page sings on All for Nothing but the jury's still out on Daron. The Rolling Stone says he "appears" on Rebellion which is the exact same wording they use to describe Rakim's contribution to GATS.
Yeah but with Rakim, it would be quite obvious that he would be contributing a verse, as to Daron, who could just be contributing guitar, or vocals, or both.
