At first i hated Good Chalotte but now ive grown to like them..they are not that bad as i thought they were..but some of there songs can be annoying but if u listen to all of "The young and the Hopeless"..they talk about real stuff. Any way jus wondering i dont want to pick a fight or anything but Jawknee i wanna know why you think they are posers.
Good Charlotte are awesome. I misjudged them in the past. Their music is great and they're not posers.
I think they're posers too. All I know is that I hated them from the moment they released Lifestyle's Of The Rich & Famous. What do they have to female dog about? They're rich & famous too, they're ######' millionares you know. And the old cliche of "my dad left us and I'm angry at him" wore out in 2001 when punk became mainstream. One more thing before I end this horrible atrocity called a rant. It pissed me off when that one dude in the band wore a Slipknot shirt. I've come to the conclusion that he doesn't know what the #### he's doing That's all my opinion though
...And the plot thickens...*dun dun dunnnnnnnn* Yes Jawknee, i want to know why you think they are posers. I happen to think they're music is pretty cool...
Whats the matter with him wearing a Slipknot shirt? If he likes the band he can buy the shirt if he wants too..i dont find a issue with that..
Well they i think it was Benji or someone at one point said he liked LP and thought Faint rules, so i dont hold it against them. they like rock just like we do
We'll never know if he does. He'll always admit to liking them to attract the dumber side of the metal fans. EDIT: It all really comes down to what music you like. Even though they've never claimed to be punk, it's kinda obvious what image they're going for. So if your a hardcore punk fan, you'll hate them. I'm a hardcore metal fan, so i hate anything that's on MTV. Except Linkin Park.
We have to understand that just because theyre huge multimillion dollar rich guys (which may not be true but they are famous) that they are people just like the rest of us. If Benji wants to wear a Slipknot shirt or say LP is cool then thats them. Dont criticize them for their opinion. We don't criticize anybody else for theirs, do we? They like rock just like we do.

I personally don't think Good Charlotte are posers. They kinda remind me of Avril actually.....Good Charlotte's lyrics a little cheesy, but overall, I don't think they're posers. I guess some of their lyrics are from the sh!t they had to go through when they were younger.
how could anyone love that? thats a horrible thing to say..its like being racist [/b][/quote] I found it extremly funny. I know someone like that. He dress's in all black, talks about suicide, cuts himself, all that crap. But really there is nothing wrong with him at all. He's actually a happy guy, but I guess doesn't want to show that side of him. He's a poser. And no, that's not like being racist. It's actually prejudice not racist anyway.
The real posers in this world are Linkin Park. Everyone knows they're just cashing in on the whole rap/rock scene. They're totally copying limpbizkit. The assholes.
First off, sorry I didn't respond so quick, everyone, I went to watch a film. Here I go: Good Charlotte are posers because like Casey said, the image they're going for is punk. That song "Lifestyles of the..." which I guess made them big, is not a punk-sounding song at all. It sounds so pop, I'm surprised it's not on a soda can. Next, one of those guys like to wear all that clown make-up. Last time I checked, they weren't called Kiss or Insane Clown Posse, so STOP trying to look like something you're not. Their next single, God knows what it was called, they were in some surburbian area with all these Mexican gangsters, riding bikes and whatnot. OH PLEASE, don't tell me you have homies in the hood now? You don't! It's like they're changing their image in every video...first they were going for punk, but came out as pop, now they're going for gangsters, but are coming out as...you guessed it: POP. They think they're all hard, like the singer bounces around like he's flowing, but he's just singing with a poppy-feel. Their lyrics are sooooooooooooooo annoying. They try to act hard and put some hardcore lyrics I guess, like they grew up in the hood or something. Yeah right. You've got record-label production written all over you, GC. What sh!t did they go through, Terry? Their dad left them. Like Casey said, that's cliche' song-material and we have enough songs about that stuff back a few years ago. They try to give us this hard image, especially the kid with the makeup and tats, but they're not. When they host that show on MTV, they're just 2 little kids...obnoxious kids, just like Sum 41. They're annoying as hell, not scary and intimidating. Good Charlotte belongs in the same section as Advil Aleeve, or whatever her name is. This is my opinion so don't go ape sh*t over it. Please don't try and convert me to your music taste of GC, it won't happen. I'll admit I like one song by them, but it's an old one. And I like it because it's not wannabe-hard sounding. Ugh, they're not a hard band...they're as soft as Jell-o. They're not gangsters, they're not 2pacs, they're annoying kids. Find them a babysitter, please. I'm on your side, Casey.
