And since the character's name can be anything, it's not like they were going to come out and give him a name. That'd be dumb. There's really only one long- and red-haired boy in the entire series, which is why it feels like a confirmation without directly saying it, in my opinion.

 

I know, having played through all of FR myself. I just like to take my speculation/hints towards games with a grain of salt.

 

So it is him.... You tyhink Giovanni will make an apperreance in the game? A return after Team Rocket failed in taking over the radio tower etc
