Indicates to me that the delay was probably a result of them still trying to finish this game.

This seems to be what living things was about.... the game involves "consuming" other things, but these things have to be smaller than yourself (hence why the red ones dont turn color until you are larger than them) food chain, survival of the fittest, etc.

 

So if I complete the game it says: "Congratulations you are one step closer" and then at the bottom "Logout"! This means I am definatly logged in! Now my question: Does that mean it is saved? Does a message come confirming that or does it auto-save? Thanks!

 

Yeah, it's showing to me too every time i start new game.

 

Yeah, it does say "chrome preferred" when on the homescreen.

Completed it but I don't really know if it really saves 'cause everytime you refresh, you start over regardless of whether you logged in.

I didn't like the "come back tomorrow" part, ME WANTS TO PLAY NOW

The aim of the game is to propel oneself, a single-celled organism ("Mote"), into other smaller motes to absorb them. Colliding with a mote larger than the player will result in being absorbed, resulting in a game over. Changing course is done by expelling mass. Due to conservation of momentum, this results in the player's mote moving away from the expelled mass, but also in one's own mote shrinking.
