Linkin Park's guitar tablature book for "Meteora" has finally surfaced and is available for purchase online. The book features tabs for all songs from "Meteora" with exception of the thirteen second long intro, "Foreword". The cover is just a widened version of the original cd cover. The book also features four pages of color photographs of the group. Click here or here to purchase the tablature book. Thanks to LessIsMore for the heads up.
that kind of talk will get you in trouble these days...
Tell my why? Just a tought... Tabs are legal anyway.
Tell my why? Just a tought... Tabs are legal anyway.
people seem to have a problem with getting things that you'd normally have to pay for, for free. especially when those things in any way shape or form involve music.
I don't belive it applies to tabs. Yeah if I say to someone "scan this and send it to me" now that's stupid. But if I use the tabs a person did by himself, who doesn't get money for it and that is happy that people use them, where's the problem?
Great news. I already can play most of the songs. But now I can learn them properly instead of playing them by ear
Guys, it's really not that great. I mean I'm not trying to put LP down or anything, (but thats how people will take it.), but LP has to be the easiest thing to play, it's not fun at all. Brad plays power chords, I mean that's not even as hard as regular bass.(Bass without slapping or popping, just picking or plucking...that rhymed.) And the bass in LP is easier than anything to play. The hardest is either OSC, or Don't Stay. And they are not hard. At all. Forgotten is the only semi-complex song LP has. It would be the hardest out of them all, but again, its not. So I mean unless your a beginner, your not gonna have fun except head banging to LP's music.
Most of their songs are played drop D, so you play like this g|----------------------------5| d|3-2-2-2-2-3-2-2-2-2-5--| a|3-2-2-2-2-3-2-2-2-2-----| E|3-2-2-2-2-3-2-2-2-2-----| (This is how I play the intro of Forgotten, palm muted + picking) Then you get the picking listening to the song and you're done. You only need a finger... Pretty simple. I'm not telling it's bad, the book is simply not worth it...
hahaha.. yes... finally... no longer shall i play my one-stringed version of faint ... now i can actually play properly... coooooool B) booyakasha! ... i kinda made up my own lil version of numb too... for bass... again only one string .. but agree with the other ppl that have said it... y pay money when u can get it off the net... if im gonna buy it... its just gonna be for my collection of linkin park stuff
Dude..you do know that those are the strings of a 4 string bass...and drop d would be DADG, not EADG.... Unless your just showing the strings you use there, other wise it would be DADGBE.
