They might think you are over 18 Mali.

Would your parents not allow you to get it done?

Amanda, we were there in person, asking all these questions.

My parents would be... Da would almost definitely be against it, and Maman.. well, it would be possible to convince her, but I'm not positive.

Its not like you want your tongue pierced. I am pretty open to what ever my kids might want to do when they are teenagers.

Good luck with what ever you decide Mali, and with the age issue.

Thanks, Jen. My friend and I are discussing the salons right now (we both want the same piercing).

Like Persephone said, they might have assumed you are over 18.

I would be disappointed if I had to go home without a piercing because they IDed me.

I've actually got a question. 12 weeks pregnant already and already have a bump. When is the best time to take out my belly piercing?

Sarah, I actually kept mine in until I was like 30 weeks, you will get to a point where the skin around it is really tight, and it will be really uncomfortable. Its just a matter of how much you want to keep it once you get really big.

Because after my ultrasound I took it out, and then a few hours later it was still open, so I was like fuck it, put it back in.

Oh and to list my piercings:
    > Tongue
    > Labret
    > Twice on each ear
    > Had it done twice on belly but I took the lower one out and now I have the upper.

Why did I do it? To overcome my fear of needles.
Which one was my most painful? My tongue. Cos it's not skin it's muscle.

Since I was 19 and living with myself, I went and got it my tongue, and lower belly button at a piercings parlour. This also applies to my lip piercing I had done but I had to remove it.
For my 20th bday this year, I got my labret, which is further down and doesn't tempt me as much to change it all the time, that's the problem I had with my lip and that was the death of my lip piercing.
When I was 18 I got my ex bf to do my ears in my bathroom and did my upper belly button on the dining table with one of my mum's sewing needle. That one I have still in.
Just basically as long as I was over 18 and I had my ID on me to prove that I was 18 + I could get it done without giving a shit about my parents reaction, and of course, I had the money to pay for them.
The place I went to when I was 19, I made such good friends with the piercer that I ended up chatting him up.

Wow, nice find. It makes me wonder what else they photoshopped on that second site. That was one of the things I liked about the second website, the colors looked really vivid. Well, thanks Adobe! :p

Hang on, so tattoodragon used the same one? Or the other way around? Damn. Think, think, think. Thanks, Yoricklove.

It looks like maybe Arba took the tattoo from tattodragon, just because they put a watermark it but I'm not sure!

It could just be the same tattoo artist working for both places.

Most likely its in the portfolio of an artist who has worked both places. They probably consider it one of their signature pieces, and you said one of the places is fairly new right?

Yes, Arbattattoo is pretty new, and it does say on their site that their artists come from various salons...

That's probably it, didn't mean to freak you out or anything.

Also, the watermark DG seems to be the imagestorage site they're using, like photobucket.

This shouldn't really worry you since you're not getting tattoo'd...

This is what I have currently, I used to have three more rings per ear, but have taken them out over time. Right now though I have 14 gauge capture rings and an 8 gauge amethyst plug in each ear.
