    lol @ Ryan above ^^^^^

it's a/b time these guys got some music going... 3 yrs. between a cd is just CRAZY! but i mean it's worth the wait; i almost started giving up hope though when i heard mike was doing the fort minor bit and chester doing a couple solo projects, too... i start to think "NOOOO! Now another year between CD's" =P
luckily they're getting it together and writing some stuff up now. i bet this cd will roxxor even more than the last 2. they better have more rock-based songs this time b/c as we all know 'Meteora' was very much more hip-hop and w/ the Fort Minor album that's enough hip-hop flowing through our headphones from the LP members.
can't wait for ths one! wonder what it's gonna be called :?

haha especially the screw up with jay z forgetting his own lyrics. the guy is a genius, but that alone should not be worthy of putting on an album that people will pay for. face it: no one cares about lpu website except for the home videos. its a bunch of teeny boppers talking about:

1- whos hotter? mike or chester? (laff)
2- how hard it is to play LP songs on guitar (laff)
    3- why rap sucks (laff)
4- when LP will come to their hole in the wall deserted city (laff)
5- how "hott" mike is. (laff)
6- why Lp will NEVER BREAK UP (laff)
7- how lp saved thier lives (some people are legit, most tho = laff)

its useless. people buy it for the shirt and the cd (and i do actually use my lpu3.0 window cling on my car :) )

in conclusion, we want unreleased stuff. wether its chester burping the alphabet, crazy stupid guitar riffs by brad delson, or pheonix and mikes terrible songs, we want stuff that no one else has. thats what makes it so exclusive, thats what makes it the LPU.

    im spent. flame away.

    edited : forgot #5's LAFF :p

I'm convinced that they don't listen to their fans. They make threads on the LP Underground forum asking fans what they want to see in the package and what they want to appear on the CD and they don't even listen to them. It's utterly and fucking ridiculous. There's a slim chance I'm going to renew my membership for LPU5. It's bullshit.

Er, Warner has nothing to do with the LPU.

This'll be the first year I won't be getting LPUnderground.

I mean, the concert wasn't even a good performance. It was in fact quite lackluster and subdued.

I didn't even watch it. I'm glad I didn't because everyone's told me how horrible it was. Why should I waste my money on a CD with an awful performance on it? I mean, really.

That's because WB owns the songs.

No. Linkin Park makes the songs. Warner Bros has ownership and most likely gets royalties on whatever they sell with their name on it, but Warner has no input on what goes on the cd. It's strictly the band. It's pressed and released by Machine Shop.

there has GOT to be some sort restrictions on what they put. i dont think its because theyre not listening. gotta be another reason.

on another note, i kinda like the MSR necklace in the Fort Minor Videos. looks neato :p

man im bored at work. customer service at compusa is boring at 830 at night :)

I believe that it's solely the band's choice. Obviously Mike's got no quip with releasing B-side material. He released an entire album of B-sides for Fort Minor and called it a mixtape.

I'd like to say they're not listening.

But they DID put a couple of original tracks on LPU4.

Maybe they just don't have any material to release at the moment...?

But they're listening but unable to fulfill.

    They are on break, afterall.

But I won't be getting the package. 'tis cheap.

neh, i'd rather bitch about the LPU5.0 cd, lol ;)

i got an e-mail from the LPU tonight about the LPU6.0(lol, that's what it said in my subject line).....

atleast the coverart looks neat.... it kinda has me thinking though... they can't just load a whole CD full of the live songs(yes, yes, i know, LPU3.0).... i think we may get lucky and get one new song, or atleast a remix.... here's to wishful thinking :)
