Oh, okay, I was beginning to suspect that anyway. Rofl Besides, you know what they say--sanity is insanity in the majority
which is what iamshdjksfdshf said so yeah, she was straying from the original topic, not for the purpose of similarity, but on how abortion is worse.
@ Pyro--She was also using abortion as an example of what would be, in her view, considered real torture of babies (including fetuses at a potentially sentient stage), as opposed to the view here that says the sick baby is being tortured because the parents are keeping her alive. She was expressing what she considers as real torture of babies, which I recall was a great part of our discussion. Which, in my opinion, makes her use of abortion a connection. But anway, I'm not going to argue this case anymore because I'm beginning to feel strange arguing whether this and that point was relevant to her topic or not, whether she should or shouldn't have said that, whats necessary and uneccesary in this topic, etc. Its really up to writer. Besides, (I should have come to this realization long time ago) I can't expect everybody to see the points and connections made in other people's topics, so if you can't seem to make any connections in her post concerning abortion and the subject in discussion, then...well, fine, I'll just have to accept that you can't make any connections, because I've done just about as much explaining as I want. @ everybody--If people haven't noticed, I tend to let my mouth run ahead of myself a lot, so someone please be kind enough to tell me when enough is enough
hi, i came back and although is said i wont get back, i am going to answer goso 88 question, and a comment to pyromaniak, but really this topic might benefit from getting back on track very soon. goso 88 you are getting my points and views as i mean them, and thank you for that, i am glad that my points and connections do get across for most people if not all.and thank you for explaining my posts, could not have done it any better and dont find it annoying. its good skill there you got! and dont worry about confusing my gender, since you cant see me, there is no offense taken. pyromaniak, there are rules to debate, but going too deep into something is not breaking the rule at all, neither any of us can start curbing how the discussion goes along if its not to our liking or we cant understand what the other side is going on about. if i dont understand what you say, i would ask you politely, please could you explain instead of trying to rubbish your views just for not liking them or not understanding them enough. debate often can teach you new things if you are open to them. a new level to look at things , to see things from all angles and then possibility of seeing deeper meaning and first sight hidden connection. if you want to take things on face value, that is your choice, it is my choice to take it deeper as there is freedom for both of us. i dont appoint myself here to complain about people for going in too shallow or too deep. or projecting my frustration on them. as you see there are people who understand what i am talking about, so i cant be that cryptic. without the ability to grasp the abstract thought we would not evolved, sharing the same ancestor as chimpanzees, we are where we are because we developed complex abstract thinking resulting in language, which we communicate with here, so why hasnt abstraction has a place in a debate, when language itself is abstraction, abstraction gave us technology ie. internet, music, etc.and the technology that keeps that baby alive. without that technology we would not even have this topic to talk about,...... so where is it written not to use abstraction....... and how can it be annoying if you are already using computer which is a result of somebody having abstract thoughts? yes, the connection between abortion and situation was like goso and minus xero said. so i am glad it got across also.
