I can't wait for a new Papa Roach album, and seriously, if some people are basing how good the record will be on the meat hook comment, calm down folks, it's just a quote that was probably thought up spare of the moment.

I don't think they will ever record something like infest or lovehatetragedy again. They're not the same band anymore

linkin park will never record HT again.Megadeth will never record Rust in Peace again, metallica will never record Master of puppets again,Iron maiden will never record Seventh son again.

Kiddo, bands evolve and change their sound. What the use if they record something like Infest again???Limpbizkit has been doing that 4 years recycling the same old shit now people have started getting bored of them.Nu-Metal is extinct now.the world knows about is.

i'm not 100% sure, but i believe Dusan was following the same idea as what you just posted. He/She's saying that PRoach isn't the same band anymore as in, they are everchanging..... as far as nu-metal being extinct, I think the title is extinct, but the genre is still there

Kiddo?! Well that made me laugh...

You've just "corrected" me by paraphrasing my post. Well done ;)

What I was saying is that it is unreal to expect another another song like Last Resort or album like Infest like someone said. They seem to have gone in another direction with their music when they realized that all the rap-rock/nu metal thing is not working anymore. On the other hand, another gawm will surely make them sink even deeper. It's high time they recorded some fucking good new music and I hope that's exactly what they'll do on the new album. Otherwise, I don't think anyone will buy their records again...

well if they make a nu metal album critics will say that nu metal is extinct ant they'll be bashed for making that album.

if they make something like gawm then fans like you will criticise them.so in a way papa roach are in no man's land.they'll get butchered anyhow

No they won't. Provided that they try to write songs with passion again.
You can't feel any passion on most of the songs on gawm

you do have a point there.i mean many albums would pack a punch in a mere 30 minutes but even 38 minutes of gawm seemed not enough. It did seem incomplete

Wow. That's not what I wanted to hear. Now I think it's going to be a teenie record after hearing him talk about it... "There's even going to be rap in it!" Enough said...
