Points Of Authority, In The End... But Meteora did have more songs based on electronic sounds, whereas they tended to be less important in Hybrid Theory songs.
It is pretty fair to say they put much more emphasis on the electronics with Meteora, but their development in other areas suffered as a result. Plus the electronics on With You were arranged by The Dust Brothers, not LP, if I'm not mistaken.
I dont really listen to Meteora anymore. Every once in awhile, I might listen to a few tracks but it has probably been over a year since I listened to the whole album. I dont really like it anymore.
I meant that Meteora had MORE electronic stuff, Chemist. That's only three songs you mentioned, while Meteora had all 13.
I completely agree with that. Meteora was terribly produced and mixed, and honestly it takes out so much of the energy in the songs. Honestly, I think that Meteora could have been a fantastic album, but some bad songs and terrible production bring it down. In my opinion, this should have been the tracklist: 1. Don't Stay (they could have combined it with Foreword) 2. Somewhere I Belong 3. Lying From You 4. Hit The Floor 5. Faint 6. Session 7. Breaking The Habit 8. From The Inside 9. Figure. 09 10. Nobody's Listening 11. Numb With some great raw production, that could have been awesome.
You know, that's my least favorite track on the album. But that doesn't change the fact that the whole album totally rocks.
I have to say, thinking about it, from a song writing standpoint, Meteora was pretty awesome. However the production is awful. Its far too clean, and the bass is barely audible. I wish they could somehow reproduce this album.
There worst effort. The songs are all kinda similar and do repeat Hybrid Theory. From The Inside (actually my fave of all LPs songs), Breaking the Habit, Nobody's Listening, Session and Numb standout bt the rest sort of fall together and are basically filler. I do NOT like Lying From You...
I think Meteora was a pretty good album. I don't listen to it as much as I use to when I first bought it. But I appreciate both Meteora and Hybrid Theory a lot.
Love Meteora, love Hybrid Theory and love Minutes to Midnight. They are what they are, all different in their own ways with strengths and weaknesses. Sure some may be uglier than the others, but hey I love them all like they're my own children lol
i couldn't judge you because that's your opinion but worst is just too damn..hahaha... one thing that i can't forget meteora because of the song Numb...it was superb from lyrics to the how they played it!
