I just saw on Viva Germany that What i`ve done debuted on Nr. 4 on Official German charts and this is their first Top 10 hit here.
    So far so good. :)

550,000 to 600,000. That is actually great! Compared to Meteora's 816,000 #1 debut, it ain't much of a drop.

600,000+ would be fantastic. It would mean Linkin Park were never gone and are back better than ever. I'm really proud of the guys right now.

Doesn't matter. In a way, it helps the artist more than the record company.

Low record sales = being dropped from label.

I'm speaking in general terms, by the way. I know WB would not drop Linkin Park. If they did, well, then they're stupid.

This ain't four years ago, man. Today, 600K in your first week is REALLY good. Nowadays, people rarely go platinum.

Trust the guy who follows the record industry very closely.

It's a different era than when HT came out, much more digital. You can't judge it to those standards. It will be a big success if it sells more than 3 million.

Well done Linkin Park and rightfully deserved also.

MTM is full of creative musical fusion and I am happy and proud of the guys who have managed to maintain such an honourable accolade in their first week sales.

Good first week sales...that number is hard to match these days with down loading and cd burning. The band will not see much of that money made from cd sales...the record label gets about 75% and then you gotta figure in the money that the stores get for the sale ...i think an artist gets like 3 cents a copie sold now. Bands make most of the money by touring and selling shirts.
