What can he do? Most guitar ideas were Fred's, and the songs whose writing Mike helped with have very soft guitars.
Why is it that when a band release a "soft" album people automatically assume the band are doing it to sell records. In some cases, probably, but not always. Maybe the music is "softer" because Fred is feeling a certain way in his life and that is how he wanted to present it musically. I'm not the biggest Limp Bizkit fan but i can respect an artists change in music.
I never said they were selling out because they went softer, but because they're trying to be emotional and angsty in a way that every band that sells records does it. It would be one thing for him to get his feelings out but another to write them in the same exact style as everyone else. You can't tell me Fred was depressed when they started out and from the years of 98-2003 he wasn't and now he's back to it again. It could happen, but I doubt that's the case. It's not like Fred was like "Man, we got to do an acoustic track and have it as the single. It's the only way to get my emotions out!" I am also aware that was a cover but if this was 1998 when their #### was selling, I guarantee they wouldn't have done it, no matter how down Fred was feeling.
if fred grows up, they will be unstoppable. EDIT: They need to stop featuring rappers on the album. It worked with Method Man, but the rest were pitiful.
If wes comes back it would be amazing. But I will not believe it untill I hear offical news from the band
it seems that mike is out of the band i believe this was on the armpit out of an email from fred: 'ool dream!! but have another one without mike in it for me. That would be better. I do love my son so much!! -- WFD' Now it doesnt say mike is out but you get the point...
Here's what I think happened... Fred drives on having attention. If he denies everything and doesn't comment then it will grab a lot more of attention. I doubt ThePRP would post something that wasn't official without stating so.
Yeah, he may have said "dont believe everything you read on the internet", he never actually denied Wes coming back.
