Oh hey, Nine Inch Nails, I remember you. Been working my way through the Social Network OST and the Ghosts I-IV, and I gotta say, the first two discs of Ghosts is amazing. I never gave it much of a chance when it first came out, since it's a huuuge project to jump into, but it makes for good background music while I play the new Batman game. <_< I'm weary about listening to that U2 cover, but I'm going to cave later today and do it anyway. Especially if it's more Fragile sounding, like you guys say. I wouldn't hold my breath on a HTDA album until the Dragon Tattoo movie comes out and the promotion dies down. Still hoping for a club/festival tour next year.
I really hope it's a new NIN album. I want that more than anything. But the pessimistic NIN fan inside of me is saying it's just the Dragon Tattoo soundtrack and maybe, like, the HTDA album. Or maybe it's all of it, who knows. For a new daddy, TR is sure keeping himself busy.
I guess some of that new music included the cover of U2's "Zoo Station". Or maybe it was already out when he posted that, I don't know. Noteworthy since it's the newest thing NINE INCH NAILS has released since I guess The Slip, right? I'm really slacking in my NIN fandom
I've listened to it twice. You can tell it's a U2 cover because of Trent's vocal delivery. Kind of atmospheric, has a Year Zero vibe to it. Cool instrumental outro. I'll come back to it for a listen every once in a while. Random side-note: I would KILL for a version of HTDA's "A Drowning" with Trent on vocals.
lol well I watched a video of him in 94' and he was in really good shape. Still pretty muscular but now he's FUCKING HUGE lmao
There are multitracks available for "A Drowning", but, otherwise, you'd have to make do without multitracks.
'94 was like the beginning of his heroin use. He didn't look good at all. Scrawny and frail, he looked.
Trent tweeted this about 20 minutes ago: "Preparing to push the button..." I'm thinking we're getting new music tonight!
