That video of the DEP and NIN combination is sick. It would have been amazing to be there for that.

And damn it, why no Europe dates on the tour? We like NIN too!

So it was the whole of DEP and not just Ben and Greg?

    Not sure.

It looks like all of them from the number of people on stage...it's hard to see faces from the video i've seen, but the way they're running about on stage looks more like DEP as well.

In that video it's all of the Dillinger Escape Plan. In the video prior to that from another date on the same festival, it was just Greg and Ben.

    http://www.ninja2009.com/

There's another free EP/tour sampler, just like they did with the last tour. Except, this time, it has two tracks produced by Reznor from Jane's Addiction, studio versions of "Non-Entity" and "Not So Pretty Now", and some shit from Tom Morello's next pointless band.

I dig those JA songs. :)

And my favourite version of "Non-Entity" is still the ReAct performance. This newly released studio cut sounds like it was rushed a little bit, just in terms of mixing. It's the same with "Not So Pretty Now", to me. But, yeah -- it's great to finally have studio cuts.

The EP is good, hadn't heard those two NIN songs properly and they're pretty good.
The Street Sweeper stuff is pretty bleh though.

When I first heard Chip Away I thought "The opening of this song reminds me of the opening of Rattamahatta by Sepultura". Then I realised most of the song was like that, haha.

I bet the closest Britain will get to having a leg of the NIN/JA tour is T in the Park, which is a shame.

Will tour, probably won't go into a studio ever again.

Tom is focused on his projects (Street Sweeper, Nightwatchman, etc.) and Zach has One Day As A Lion. They respect and support each other and what they are pursuing.

I still haven't listened to that One Day As A Lion ep. When's the album due?

I don't think there are plans for one.

I mean, not that they don't intend to release one at some point, but I don't think there's anything concrete yet. Last I heard was that they wanted to form a full live band first.

    *bursts in* Is it real?

Was Trent Reznor just in one room with Timbaland, Fergie and Bono a.o.?

God did not intend this to happen... is it good?

    edit: April fools?
