After listening to the album 5 or so times, I've come to the conclusion that I love it. I love the mixture of NIN styles and how Trent pretty much takes all the things he did best with his previous work and melded them into a single 10-track LP. Also, I just made my own wallpaper for my LG Voyager's External Screen of the album cover. It looks amazing because the menu on the main screen fits perfectly, especially with the red bar on the album cover. If anyone has this phone and wants the wallpaper, I'll upload it.
Oh man, this is so amazing. I just can't get over how awesome this release is. I hope the money I will spend buying the physical copy actually filters through to Trent, I need to say some sort of thank you for this.
Yeah, stuff trying to burn it, I'll grab the physical copy. Does Trent still make money through the Interscope releases he made?
Through songwriting royalties, I'm sure. He probably doesn't make anything off of sales anymore though. You're giving Trent more money by calling the radio station and requesting an Interscope-era song than you are by buying an Interscope-era album. *Edit* Does anyone else think there's something more to the artwork pages in the .pdf file? The red lines coming out in various directions in particular make me wonder if they're supposed to connect into something bigger.
i'm not crafty enough to take the images and do it myself, but maybe if you line up all the lines with the images, it makes one huge picture that says/means something? just a thought
I can now officially say the album is awesome, but.. didn't suppose to come with lyrics? I found none in the pdf file. but who cares.
I can't say whether those lines are supposed to connect or not, because I'm too lazy to actually try to do it, but just by looking at it, I can tell that there'd be a lil bit of flipping images involved in order to get them lined up right.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Four_of_Us_Are_Dying Kinda strange to bring up, but I just thought it was interesting, considering it's my favorite Twilight Zone episode.
Lyrics are embedded in the .mp3. Look at LYRICS in the iTunes Get Info section when you highlight the song.
Oh. I have no itunes. I only have windows media player right now. Thank you for clearing that out to me though.
Go to Library, right click the song you want the lyrics to, and click "Advanced Tag Editor". Then, click the tab labeled "Lyrics". They're right there. And wtf is it with the numbers in the lyrics for Demon Seed?
I don't like itunes, haha. I don't even like wmp but it's what I have to use, cause my linux box crashed and I'm using my moms pc temporarily. And thanks Iain. : )
Hmm... Just got a thought- what if it's like "The Greater Good"- remember the lyrics for that song? Same kind of stuff.
