we found our "in this twilight" and "zero sum" "lights in the sky" LIGHTS IN THE SKY she's mostly gone some other place i'm getting by in other ways everything they whispered in our ear is coming true try to justify the things i used to do believe in you watching you drown i'll follow you down and i am here right beside you the lights in the sky have finally arrived i am staying right beside you i tried to stay away you know just in case i've come to realize we all have our place time has a way you know to make it clear i have my role in this i can't disappear or leave you here watching you drown i'll follow you down and i am here right beside you the lights in the sky are waving goodbye i am staying right beside you oh man.
Letting You... SO FUCKING RAW. I LOVE IT. This might have to be on loop for the next few months or so.
try rest of my LIFE. Head Down is pretty ace as well. Dude. Discipline and Echoplex fit NOWHERE on this album
Head Down is fucking awesome. I know some people complain about Trent not taking the 'time he usually takes' with what's been coming out recently, but this shit is pretty damn good. And I say a few months because, at this rate, in a few months there might be more new NIN. You never fucking know with this new Trent.
Man, "a million miles away"? Again? Oh, well, it's good, nonetheless. A couple of things: "Letting You" is a throwback to "Year Zero", I reckon ... based on the lyrics and album artwork, and maybe even the sound. "Discipline" and "Echoplex" sound a little out of place, I'll agree with you guys who say that.
ETS banter is that this could be the album that was by "CLASSIFIED INMATE". As it's a halfway stage between YZ and W_T.
It seems that way, There's definitely a mix between "Year Zero" and "With Teeth" tracks here. And there are songs that seem to incorporate elements from both. EDIT: Hell, "Lights In The Sky" is, like, "Fragility" sh*t! Damn my generalisations. This album is now, like, a mixed bag of the best from various phases of NIN.
On my second listen of Head Down. This album is the shit. Man... that's a lot of fucking new material to play this summer. Anyone crazy enough to rate all the major NIN albums in order, as per the usual post-album release banter?
