Well the Pistons pretty much won the series with this win and from the looks of it...Spurs should be eliminated tonight, but if they do somehow win then Dallas is in deep shit.

Knew the Cavs were going to be goners, but I really thought Dallas had a legit chance to win it, but its going to be really tough for them now.

    My finals Suns-Heat.
Heat win in 7 the only reason being that the suns have nobody to guard Shaq, otherwise I would pick the Suns.

I don't think the Suns can beat the Spurs. They couldn't do it last year, and they had Amare. I also doubt the Heat will beat the Pistons. I know they can, but they would have to play flawlessly, and no one can get hurt. But I don't think they will. The Pistons are just too good. But I'm HOPING for a Dallas/Phoenix vs. Heat finals, the Spurs and the Pistons are just boring to watch.

I hope people stop doubting Lebron now, he almost single handedly beat the best team in the NBA. Sure, he had role-players helping out, but they all got their points because of Lebron's passing and Lebron drawing all the defense away.

These have been some of the most entertaining and exciting playoffs I've ever seen.

Today... im expecting one of the best games of the whole playoffs. Spurs vs Mavericks. I expect the Spurs to win, but I hope the Mavericks win. Dirk hopefully will put some stellar play tonight.

    ....Could it be?

    ....The Spurs are eliminated?

Holy crap. Hell has frozen over. AWESOME. This means that the Pistons are going to win the title, but hey, I can be happy for a moment anyway.

The WC Final is going to be the one of the most amazing playoff series' ever, if the Suns don't just sweep the Mavs. I mean, they basically play the same style(a few differences), but the Suns are better at it.

The Suns-Mavs series is going to be sucha fun series. This years playoffs were by far the best ones since the Lakers were winning championships. I think Miami has a chance to beat the Pistons, but all the role players are going to have to step up at all times, if not the Pistons are going to win it. And because Suns have played every single playoff game necessary so far (both series have been 7 games) its going to take a lot of heart to win it all, and this series will probably go to 7 as well IMO. Very entertaining!

    Booooooooo.

Mavs did good but lost... some bad calls down the stretch, but they didn't deserve to win the game in only one quarter anyways.

Suns won, and Miami won. Score.

There will be 6-7 games for the Suns-Mavs series. For the Heat-Pistons series, it'll be 5-6. There will be no game 7. If Miami wins the next game, they've won the series. Miami has a thing with streaks. But if Pistons win the next two games, they'll win it. Suns-Mavs are going to be good, but I think the Suns will end up winning this one.

I don't want Detroit to win, because they'll hand the Suns' asses to them. Suns will probably beat Heat if it comes to that, which it should.

I'm worried about Raja Bell, though. He got injured.

    Update:

Phoenix Suns lost 4-2 against the Dallas Mavericks. Miami Heat beat the Detroit Pistons 4-2. This will be the first trip to the Finals for both Miami and Dallas.

Dallas won Game 1, so they are up 1-0 right now.

I'm disappointed that the Suns lost, but Dallas was just a better team this year, and they had home advantage. But Phoenix lost two times at home, so Dallas is a great team. The Pistons, with their record being the best in the NBA this season, still lost to the Miami Heat, whose record was lower than that of the Suns.

Miami is a good team though. They held up pretty well against the Mavericks in Game 1, but home field advantage and just giving it up in the end have them down 1-0 in the series. It's only the beginning though.

Haha, I haven't seen this thread in a while.

I like how I was one of the few in the beginnings of the thread to be rooting for the Mavs. =D

Get out cha broomsticks! It's gonna be a sweep!
