Haven't had a chance to listen to the full thing or completely digest what I've heard, but I'm enjoying what I'm hearing. Liquid State is a real standout track, though.
I really liked of it. Just three or two songs that actually I didn't like. Also, The 2nd Law: Isolated System is fucking awesome.
I won't listen to the leak. Listened to Survival, The 2nd Law: Unsustainable, Madness & The 2nd Law: Isolated System (and the few live songs, but they don't offer everything). All of it was awesome to me. I pre-ordered the Deluxe Box at the beginning of the month, I won't be disappointed, right?
3 favorites have to be Panic Station, Animals, Supremacy. Panic Station in particular WILL NOT LEAVE MY HEAD.
I really like the new Muse album... My favorite songs are probably Liquid State, Big Freeze and Animals.
Supremacy is an interesting song.. I'm not sure whether to like it or not but it is a fitting intro for the album. Anyways, I've listened to the album and I must say, liking it! Panic Station is fabulous, Follow Me is a pretty interesting track, Madness is awesome, Save Me is so f'ing beautiful Survival... Eh, I don't like it at all But that's pretty much the only song that I don't like from this album.
Same here, it is pretty damn Kashmir though on that intro riff, with the strings and everything. Okay album overall, probably tied with The Resistance for least favourite Muse album.
Good Songs: Madness (3rd best song), Follow Me, Animals (best song), Explorer, Big Freeze, Liquid State (2nd best song), Isolated System, Unsustainable Ok songs: NONE Bad songs: Supremacy, Panic Station, Prelude, Survival, Save Me, So for a Muse album it's bad, but the album isn't that bad. Survival still basically WOAT though
It's a good album, I have listened to it twice now, and it's still growing on me. But is it just me or does Panic Station sound like a mix of "Another one bites the dust" and "Thriller"? The vocal melody is very similar to the latter...
Yeah, Panic Station I think is a strangely awesome mix of Another One Bites the Dust, Thriller, and Superstition.
