Last night's episode was awesome. I actually had to shake after the end of the second episode because of the chills. Edgar's death scene was really heart wrenching. I was really sad about that. Jack's interrogation of Henderson and his wife was fucking hardcore. He shot the wife in the leg to get Henderson to speak, and he still wouldn't. That's just heartless. Jack will either get him to talk, or he will die.
I think this season is really a big dissapointment. It's kinda sad how they just continue to kill off all the main characters. So far this season of bigger charactersa nd big characters introduced, I tihnk they have killed off 5 main characters from the storyline. But whatever I will contnue to watch to see if anytihng gets better.
I think this is an emotionally amazing season so far. Sure, they killed off 4 of the most important characters we've all known and loved (or hated) during the show (Edgar was only really on for a season and a half) but truth be told...Jack is in "Hulk Smash" mode right now. He just saw two of his co-workers/friends die, his daughter basically threw him away, and he has yet to stop an attack. Wouldn't you be pissed? What I am trying to say is, if Jack doesn't kill some people...we have problems
Jack's either going to have an emotional breakdown or go on the most amazing killing spree ever. Holy shit, what a season this has become. The last minute of last night's episode was so sad. You're right, this season has been emotionally amazing and filled with surprises. I haven't seen the previews for next week's episode (I refuse to watch it after the credits), but I'm going to guess that Henderson takes Kim hostage before she can leave CTU and Jack's going to have a problem on his hands.
I always check out next's week previews...it's for the week after that im afraid of. I can't remember what happened for next week so ...all I remember is (some dude jumping off a small building onto someone...I think it was Jack.) Here's hoping for a killing spree
Nothing beats the killing spree in the finale episode of Season 1 where he thinks Kim is dead, so he rushes into a warehouse in a van, climbs out the back, kills about 10 people while duel-wielding pistols, chases the Drazens across the dockyard, the entire time dodging bullets and returning fire. Then he gets to Victor Drazen, who's unarmed and willing to be arrested, shoots him about 6 times in the chest, then continues pulling the trigger about a dozen times even when there's no bullets left. So hardcore.
It's on syndication everywhere in America during the weekends. Speaking of the Season 1 finale Mark said, that was on this past Sunday here. A&E airs it on Mondays for 4 hours in a row twice (8-12 AM and 2-6 PM) and Sundays (10-12 AM and 7-9 PM)
yea, mark's post reminded me of the last episode of season 1 i saw on sunday.. just thought i'd let everyone know.. boy, watching 24 for a whole day on the weekends never gets tiring lol.. i watched nonstop
Like I said, I just thought the episode was going really well and it really captures your attention. You know its gonna leave you on a cliffhanger and then all of a sudden a guy who has been gettng stuff injected into him to make him weak turns a deadly syringe on Tony and kills him and then still has more thna enough energy to run off. Just thought it was a really poor ending. But like I said I am still gonna tune in and keep watching cause I know there is gonna be alot of cool shit to come. Especially with that woman coming in and thinking she is all in charge and shit.
The guy's a highly trained CTU agent. Like Jack, he has the power to block out pain. He probably just put himself in a premeditative state.
That was one of my favorite moments of Season One. At the end of the show, I just wished that Jack would have at least pistol-whipped Nina in the face before giving her over to the authorities.
Well I guess it can be justified as that. Maybe this season just seems really different to me cause I am watching it week by week on tv.
Recently just brought all 4 seasons on DVD, just finished watching season 2 and gotta say its a great show, Have to admit I thought season 1 was a bit slow here and there but season 2 was a rollcoaster ride, cant wait till I start to watch season 3/4 and hopefully 5
If Jack Bauer was in a room with Hitler, Stalin, and Nina Meyers, and he had a gun with two bullets, he'd shoot Nina twice.
That's true. I was pleased though to hear that both Nina and Sherry Palmer die in the third season, though.
The third season (which was to many as well) my least favorite season so far. This season ranks 3rd so far in my list which goes: 2, 4, 5, 1, 3. But with Mark mentioning the Season 1 finale made me had to download it and watch it. Yes, Bauer's reaction was hardcore.
