In my opinion, that's the only reason they're still as popular today as they were then. Had Kurt not killed himself (or had Courtney not killed him, depending on what you believe), Nirvana would've eventually faded out.
it was courtney
Maybe he was right.
Maybe... I guess I agree where as Courtney says "god you #######" about "It's better to burn out than to fade away"! Do u think he was right?
Only if you look at it that way, though it seems like he was merely referring to his career. The letter he wrote didn't even like sound a suicide note.

I don't know much about the whole suicide-or-homicide thing, but I have heard that he supposedly used a shotgun to kill himself. As far as I know, it's damn near impossible to shoot yourself in the head with a shotgun -- and if he used a sawed-off shotgun, there would be no head on his shoulders left.
There has never been any autopsy photos leaked online, or even mentioned anywhere to my knowledge, so the possibilty of his head being...um, not there, is a possibilty. As for the whole 'She murdered him' theory, I won't even look at it. I don't even like Nirvana, why would I care. Look here if you're a sucker. Lol. No I kid.
Good band in all, but man they are so OVERRATED. On MTV they've been called one of the Best Rock Bands ever and all that...I would say they were an average rock band who happened to come up with a couple of great songs and one classic, '...Teen Spirit'. I never liked grunge though, Pearl Jam and all that yuck
